  4. If you have been off for a few days, when you log in you receive all past messages which is annoying. Would it be possible to only receive message sent/received for the day you log in versus past history of messages?

  5. Do we have the ability to Batch Post Charges on a billing screen to multiple accounts at the same time with different amounts? This would be a one time manual posting and not reoccurring.
    Example:
    A tour group charges a fee per bag of $5.00. Staff count the number of bags delivered per guest. List provided to front desk. Each one could be different or the same amount per room. Not included in the room charge as the tour operator pays or in some cases the guest pays but not normally. There are 50 people on the tour. Currently each…

  6. Would like to have the ability to view/export/print a day by day market segment report for a specific date span. This could be for past dates or future dates. This would include only totals, no details or drill down required, of room nights, ADR by market segment. Would also be good to show Period to Date, Year to Date, Period to Date Last Year and YTD Last Year with Summary Totals at the bottom of the report. This would make it easier for property management and revenue management teams to see how they are performing as compared to Last Year.…

  7. If the property wants to assign different rooms to different people name that is separate but it should be by default while creating a reservation it should be under one name for all the group or multiple room unless needed by the guest.

    but mostly no one cares for that as from the guest side but from property we need to keep on merging them especially when we are running busy

  8. It would be necessary to have commander only rates which can be used by our receptionist only, that do not have any restrictions on it. Sometimes it is ok to sell one room of a category for maybe just one night at a certain time, but not the whole category. Also we offer our returner guests the possibilty to book their next vacation - same time - next year when they leave, but we do not sell it to any other person - not online, not at the OTA´s and not in person at the desk.   9. MEWS should allow for the users to create rates per spacetype. Currently any rate we create is available for all spacetypes. This results in very slow availability request responses.

  12. If you want an employee to be an administrator, you can't take some tasks out of the menu and letting him or her still be an admin.
    For exemple, an GM assistant is an admin but I don't want to allow him to charge CC on line. Message says "impossible to take this privilege admin out as the employee is already an admin"

Unfortunately, this request will not be added to the Mews development roadmap and is unlikely to be delivered as Mews will always show a reservation owner on the Timeline and all companions within the reservation detail in order to avoid large lists of names on the Timeline.

  15. Les propositions que nous envoyons à nos clients pour les demandes de groupes manquent cruellement de clairté et de précisions.
    Il faudrait travailler sur le sujet.
    Que le client ait un récapitulatif par exemple :
    Par date de séjour du nombre de logements proposé, à quel prix par nuit x le nb de nuits le total TTC et HT
    idem pour les produits annexes.
    date d'option, montant de l'acompte demandé, ou détail des conditions de réservation.

  16. We would like to schedule an export of the Manager Report for our Directors.

    However, the only option is to export to a spreadsheet. Ideally they need to see a clean PDF version with the same simple formatting that we can see on the MEWs page.

    i.e. can we please have an export format in PDF for the Manager Report, that matches the same onscreen formatting in MEWS, which we can schedule to send automatically to a selected Export Target?

  17. IF I HAVE A GUEST IN A ROOM FOR 10 NIGHTS AND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STAY I NEED TO CHANGE THE ROOM NUMBER I CAN NOT DO THAT AS THE OTHER ROOM NUMBER OF SAME ROOM TYPE WERE OCCUPIED BEFORE SO IT BLOCKS TO CHANGE THE ROOM NUMBER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STAY

    We have added functionality that will allow you to switch between the new and old billing screens. However, we will soon be removing the old billing screen towards the end of February 2021.

    Are you you able to share with us any tasks you feel that you are unable to perform in the new billing screen compared to the old one?

  20. Optional alert setting that sends an email or dashboard alert when a guest completes Online check-in or updates information in their profile. Most specifically to my desires would be to get alerted when a Creditcard has been added as we use this to indicate a guest would like to move forward with a held reservation & trigger when a guest is going to be allowed to enter their room.
