  1. When we receive bookings from destination management companies, the original source of the bookings often come from travel agents before they are sent to a destination mangement company and finally the PMS. In Mews, we are only able to view a single travel agency which means that we can only see the name of the destination management company; we are not able to see the name of the travel agencies that made the original bookings.

    We would like our sales and marketing teams to have insights on the travel agencies that are making reservations.

  2. add the payment in the POS MEWS so that we can invoice a product and charge the customer directly (for the bar, the restaurant...).
    Can also be used with the TPE MEWS for direct billing.

  3. When you use 'Messages' in the Mews Commander app from your phone, it would be useful to go directly to the reservation as you can do when you work for a computer. Thank you team

  5. Would it not be easier to be able to set up a new travel agents without having to create a new company first.
    also, the routing rules should be part of the company and travel agent set up and not another unrelated action.
    this is causing way too much work and should be able to be simplified

  6. would it be possible to make the room number guests are allocated to or have stayed in more prominent on the overview and dashboard.
    also, it is very annoying you are not able to see the full name. perhaps move the three icons on the right corner further down?

  7. Currently when a guest arrives early or leaves late, the hotels decide whether to charge such a guest extra money for the additional time spent in the room. Most properties set up special products for early CI / late CO. These products can be then posted to the bill by the receptionist. This, however, requires additional manual work.

    Early check-ins and late checkouts might be charged automatically.

  9. when you try to set the date in the (new) task, the calendar heights changes continuously between months. this is really annoying as you need to watch where you click if it is for say 5 months later.
    either change the calendar position or introduce being able to link task to an arrival / departure event

  10. After the last upgrade of mews. It is not possible to extend an upgraded person in the upgraded category as Mews moves the booking to the originally booked room (regardless if blocked or not )

  11. Guests have the opportunity to change the reservation status from optional to confirmed in Mews guest services portal (former Navigator). It would be great if a task could be triggered to notify staff in the hotel that a reservation status change has occured.

  12. it would be good if you could update a task and re-instate it once closed. sometimes tasks have been closed but become relevant again at a later date and this would prevent having to create a new one, plus with updating the task description you have a better overview and history of what has happened with that particular booking in one click.

  13. it is very annoying that when you search and choose a group, one of the bookings is ticked. if it is a large group, you are not always able to see which one and need to scroll down to unclick it before you are able to make any chances to other bookings. waste of time and also huge potential to make mistakes

  14. When moving a reservation from one category to another, one must first unlock to change the room category. Then the system assigns the room to a room in that category automatically, then we need to unlock the system again to move the guest to the room which we have already decided to move them to.

    Can th the lock function not lock in when changing room categories as the process is not complete until we move them to the correct room. Or just make it that when you change room category that Mews does not assign any room to the…

  16. It would be great if you had the option to not only update a task when opening it, but also to close it from that same window. Now you need to update it, close the task and then only are you able to complete it from the list (task list or within the reservation).
    would save time if you had that close button within the task (so both update and complete/close)
