String maximum lengths to be documented
Could the Connector API documentation please give the maximum possible lengths of all string values? It's hard to store responses from the API in a database without knowing how big to make the fields!

Unfortunately, we are unable to document such limitations as we also rely in certain cases on other 3rd party integrations sending us information. Documenting this would naturally create breaking changes as soon as we need to extend the field sizes.

Reservation origin permitted values to be correctly documented
In the Connector API documentation it states that Reservation Origin can be one of “Distributor”, “ChannelManager”, “Commander”, “Import”, “Connector” or “Navigator”. But in fact it can have at least one other value "CommanderInPerson". Could the documentation please be updated to list all possible values?

zapier - New Actions: Create, Update and Find Company
The client would like to see the following actions to be done via the Zap for a Company rather than a single Customer record in Mews:
Create Company
Update Company
Find or Create CompanyA sample use case would be they would like to create a company profile in Mews through the Zap instead of individual customers.

get-all-reservations is not returning CompanionIds
I guess this is a bug in the API.
The call never returns any CompanionIds within a reservation. The companions have been added both, by API Call and via the MEWS frontend1 vote -

Get All Accounting Items: doesn't have a Service ID filter like Get All Reservations does
Get All Accounting Items: doesn't have a Service ID filter like Get All Reservations does. Once Spacetime launches: as we are filtering Reservations to show only the Accommodation/Stay bookings, we also want to only receive the Accommodation/Stay accounting items. As a single Accounting Category ID can be shared amongst multiple services, if we can't filter by Service Id we may end up including postings in Accommodation reporting that shouldn't be included.

A create reservation note endpoint
At the moment it is possible to add a note to a reservation when creating it. It is not possible to update the note, but that's already covered here(https://feedback.mews.com/forums/919087-marketplace-app-store-integrations/suggestions/36660829-connector-api-update-reservation-with-notes).
Since a reservation can have multiple nodes it would be really nice if we had a create note endpoint which can add extra nodes to a reservation.
1 voteThe value of the Notes of a reservation can be retrieved via Get all reservations. Using Update reservation, that value can be extended to include any additional notes to be added to the reservation.

Accounting Item - Reservation relationship
You have an API endpoint https://mews-systems.gitbook.io/connector-api/operations/finance#get-all-accounting-items
Returned Accounting Item data has OrderId field:
Unique identifier of the order (or Reservation which is a special type of order) the item belongs to.
Can you add ReservationId field into Accounting Item?
The problem is that we can't know if an accounting item belongs to any specific reservation or not.
I tried to collect unique OrderId values from the list of accounting items and next fetch reservations with ReservationIds filter (to see if we have a reservation with Id same as OrderId), but if I pass non-reservation ID - I see the error…

Create/Edit Vouchers/Coucher Codes via API
Adding functionatlity to create/edit vouchers and their codes would be useful for a number of use cases.
Firstly in my opinion the Mews process for creating this is a little clunky, especially if you want to track the usage of each VC as it needs to be it's own Voucher, there's no way to track the codes within that voucher.
Therefore lets say you have a staff friends & family rate, and you want the voucher code to be the employee name so you can track usage and abuse of the incentive.
Creating additional codes for an already created voucher…
