  1. Mews should accurately allocate the price across different age categories. For instance, if a reservation includes products with child pricing, Mews should distribute the total cost based on child pricing and not just equally. For example, if the total price is 67.5 and the reservation has 2 adults and 1 child, the distribution should be 27 (adult price) multiplied by 2 (adults) and 13.5 (child price) multiplied by 1 (child).

  2. The hotel receive from Synxis reservations and are able to receive in guest profile information relate to the loyalty program. The hotel received this information in the guest profile:
    -The loyalty program
    -Membership Number
    -Membership level

    The request was for:
    -Marriott Bonvoy
    -Preferred hotels and resorts

  4. At the moment, we can't sell Mews POS in Portugal due to lack of certification and we don't have other POS which we integrate with. Most of the prospects have PMS + POS solution with local Portuguese providers.

  16. In order to show system user activity across Mews we need the ability to list users via the public API.
    For example see id, name, username for the user who checked in a guest or added a particular note.
    Many entities today have for instance "Created by" or "Updated by" fields, but I have not found a way to retrieve the actual user or all users.

    This functionality would help us show which employees have interacted with customers and assist in followups and other customer related processes.

  18. Resdiary table reservations are created and managed in the guest profile via a separate tab. This really works great!
    But it would be very helpful if you could also see the reservation in the room reservation, or at least a symbol that there is a table reservation.

  19. We use the Sabre SynXis CRS for channel management. For example, when we are oversold by 3 on a room type, Mews sends a 0 count to the CRS rather than -3. This creates situations where we are at risk of overselling or continuing to be oversold as we will get a cancelation but the CRS goes from 0 to 1 rather than -3 to -2. Often we get another booking before the systems refresh one another.

  20. Ordermate along with SwiftPOS are both regionally (APAC) and globally viable POS Solutions from the holding company : MSL Solutions.
