This status update is part of our ongoing work to simplify and streamline how our UserVoice feedback forum operates. Hi there Mewsers!
You’ve asked and we’ve listened.
We upgraded the action log to make it more detailed and easier to use.
Below are some of the additional details that we’ve added.
Before, when a reservation moved to a different room, you couldn’t see which room it was in originally—now you’ll always see exactly how the reservation looked before and after each change.
We’ve enhanced updates for products. You’ll now be able trace for example, the additions of order items as well as the price adjustments made to your products.
And finally on the pricing side, no need for a calculator! You can now monitor and report on changes to prices with the both net and gross values, as well as the affects the changes you’ve made have on taxes.
We will continue working on updates to the action log for different sections of the system. Stay tuned for more!

Hello Mewsers,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. It is unlikely that we will remove the refresh function as it is required in order for us to migrate you to a newer version of Mews which often includes the latest security updates. We can however, look into ensuring that the update does not break your workflow on the timeline.
We will be looking into improvments for the timeline in 2022 and will consider your request.

An error occurred while saving the comment Joey Mottershead commentedThis would be very useful as many customers are confused with the extend/shorten/amend their dates but don't receive X% of their total amount back. If they are sent the rates per night on their confirmation they will have written evidence of the correct price PER NIGHT

An error occurred while saving the comment Joey Mottershead commentedTHIS WOULD BE AMAZING! As a smaller hostel we regularly have to split reservations to make the most of our availability, it is VERY time consuming having to shorten and create new bookings before arrival.

More detailed information such as exactly how/why pricing was updated would be very useful, also the option for staff to include notes that appear in the action log for example (xxxx repriced order due to customer complaint, 50% off)
