Mews Connector for MAC
Having the Mews Connector working even with Apple devices. To have the fiscal printer connected to Mews, we had to install windows for Mac, and it really slows down the system. I guess many other hoteliers use Apple devices.

We are looking into ways where the Mews Connector could be served in a different approach (cross-platform, server vs user based), but we're unlikley to deliver on that in the short term.

reservations/getAll Resources extent should also return inactive resources
When retrieving reservations with the 'Resources' extent the inactive spaces are not included in the response. This means an additional call to resources/getAll to retrieve also the inactive resources.
Adding the inactive resources to reservations/getAll would circumvent this.

Add new property ExternalCode to Outlets
Hi,
currently outlets have only 3 properties - Id, IsActive and Name. We would utilize one more property named 'ExternalCode' that would make mapping of POS system revenue centers to Mews outlets easier. Currently we need to rely on using the same name of both sides, which is prone to typo error. POS Posting with Uncategorized Product
When a POS is sending a product to post in Mews, the product must have an accounting category in the POS and Mews. If there is no accounting category set in POS, then the item as well as any other items in the Cart are not posted in Mews.
In other POS systems, if an accounting category is accidentally not created in the POS, the PMS will accept the product as well as the full cart of items but place the item in a "None" category or "Uncategorized", allowing the charge. Similar to what Channel Managers do with Mews. If…

Adding Car Registration field in the Customer profile to the API
The field Car registration number in the profile are not accessible in the API.

Add "Type" property to bills/getAll
Add property "Type" to the request body of the Get all Bills endpoint, allowing to filter on only 'Invoice' for example.

String maximum lengths to be documented
Could the Connector API documentation please give the maximum possible lengths of all string values? It's hard to store responses from the API in a database without knowing how big to make the fields!

Unfortunately, we are unable to document such limitations as we also rely in certain cases on other 3rd party integrations sending us information. Documenting this would naturally create breaking changes as soon as we need to extend the field sizes.

zapier - New Actions: Create, Update and Find Company
The client would like to see the following actions to be done via the Zap for a Company rather than a single Customer record in Mews:
Create Company
Update Company
Find or Create CompanyA sample use case would be they would like to create a company profile in Mews through the Zap instead of individual customers.

Ability for custom guest apps to add and update customer photos via Connector API. It should be possible to add a base64 image to a customer profile via customer add / update Connector API endpoint

get-all-reservations is not returning CompanionIds
I guess this is a bug in the API.

Get All Accounting Items: doesn't have a Service ID filter like Get All Reservations does
Get All Accounting Items: doesn't have a Service ID filter like Get All Reservations does. Once Spacetime launches: as we are filtering Reservations to show only the Accommodation/Stay bookings, we also want to only receive the Accommodation/Stay accounting items. As a single Accounting Category ID can be shared amongst multiple services, if we can't filter by Service Id we may end up including postings in Accommodation reporting that shouldn't be included.

A create reservation note endpoint
At the moment it is possible to add a note to a reservation when creating it. It is not possible to update the note, but that's already covered here(https://feedback.mews.com/forums/919087-marketplace-app-store-integrations/suggestions/36660829-connector-api-update-reservation-with-notes).
Since a reservation can have multiple nodes it would be really nice if we had a create note endpoint which can add extra nodes to a reservation.
1 voteThe value of the Notes of a reservation can be retrieved via Get all reservations. Using Update reservation, that value can be extended to include any additional notes to be added to the reservation.

Connector API: Extend Configuration Get with Hotel's T&C's
Some integrators build self service kiosks, with this extension to the configuration/get endpoint the terms and conditions the property has loaded in to Mews will be returned.
