    We need a flag to tell mews not sending the cancellation email when we're cancelling a reservation through the "reservations/cancel" endpoint.

  2. It is extremely useful to qualify Resource Dirty / Clean / Inspected States with occupancy status.
    As it is to resolve occupancy Status, reservation’s arrival and departure dates must be queried for the Resource against current date.
    If the current date falls within arrival and departure then the occupancy can be resolved by Reservation State
    Started means occupied, anything else means vacant.
    Is there a simpler way to do it?
    Could it be included in the Resource response?

  3. As per OPTIONS available to Mews UI company can be made INVOICEABLE. This information is not available in Connector API for "get", "add", "update".

    When company masterdata is stored outside of Mews (and in masterdata layer credit check is performed on company to decide if it is invoiceable or not) it is not possible to fully keep them in synch.

  4. There are some endpoints (for example: the /reservations/search endpoint) that allow us to query certain objects like reservations that were created or modified in a certain time interval. If the time interval causes Mews to fetch too many objects, it will return a 408. This can be less straightforward for the caller as the caller does not know in which time interval most creations/modifications happened and the caller will thus keep calling the endpoint until the time interval is finally small enough for the request to succeed.   5. When getting historic reservation data, such as reservations/getAll it would be great if we could get all states of reservation.

    For instance, reservation was created on 10th of July for 10th of August for 30 rooms. It was changed from 30 to 50 rooms on 15 of July. Currently we can only access last state, however getting older state (state of 30 rooms in this example), would be great. This would allow us to recreate historic booking correctly. We can use this booking for creating different machine learning algorithms.

  8. For the connector API it is necessary to retrieve all rooms each time an API Call is made to pull the space feature, this is quite a heavy call for TSH as some hotels have 700 rooms.

    Could Mews consider to introduce a filter by room name ideally?

    This way Ireckonu or another integrating partner does not need to pull all rooms each time.

  9. Now you always need to enter a period when you are looking for a bill (bills/getall). And the period cannot exceed 3 months. If we do not know when an invoice was issued, we just have the number, it is not easy to find.

  11. Currently the [PlatformAddress]/api/connector/v1/reservations/updateCustomer endpoint only accepts a single ReservationId

    If it could accept an array of ReservationIds this would allow us to perform batch updates of customers on a selection of reservations in a single API request as opposed to many repeated requests.

  14. Currently, you have BookedSpaceCategoryID in the Reservations extent. Clients are much more interested in, what room did the guest actually stay in.

    Technically, we can use the AssignedSpaceID, and go back through the Spaces extent to find out the AssignedSpaceCategoryID, but it would be cleaner if the Reservations extent itself contained both the Booked Category and Stayed Category IDs.

  16. Currently, the Enterprises endpoint provides nearly all of the required data for retrieving information about properties within a portfolio using portfolio tokens. However, one important piece of information is missing: the Currencies array, which is currently available via the Configuration endpoint.

    At present, retrieving property currency information from the Configuration endpoint requires specifying the EnterpriseId in the request. This means that for a portfolio containing, for example, 100 properties, a client would need to make 100 separate requests to the Configuration endpoint instead of a single request to the Enterprises endpoint.   17. Our integration allows guests to book upsells through our application,
    which are then posted to Mews. While this generally works well, we have
    encountered an issue since adding support for ordering additional services.

    Specifically, we are unable to locate the service fee through the API before
    an order is placed. To ensure transparency, we need to show the guest the
    full price, including the service fee, before they confirm their order.
    Although I can see the fee by fetching order items after the transaction is
    complete, I need to access this information beforehand.

  18. When it comes to upgrades and space allocation, the internal flow is different for connector API than it is for channel mgr API, so Mews will not re-assign a new space based on the requested space category change, and the user will need to manually assign the spaces on the Mews side

    It would be nice to consider adding that possibility so Mews can also send proper availability updates to the integrations as a result. Waiting on a user to act could potentially create unnecessary OVBs during high occupancy.

  19. To be able to read and write Mews Email Templates in Guest Experiences via the Mews Connector REST API, allowing us to integrate with other email template building platforms or create custom integrations.

    We have design systems and components authored in other platforms. When we update these design systems we would like to automate the update of our email templates across all of our properties.

    To be able to commit html templates to version control systems e.g. git and CI/CD pipelines.

  20. Include the possibility to retrieve reservation data based on the booking ID or external locator, so we can get the data of a specific reservation. This is important so we can log in users to different platforms based in their booking ID they have access to and match to the one from their PMS
