  2. Our big company clients have a lot of branch offices all over Europe. Actually it is not possible in Mews to find the right branch office by typing in the name of the company and the city of the branch. Why not? This should be quite easy to be solved and save a lot of time. Furthermore it would avoid creating the same branch office again and again.

  4. The link of the online check-in in the mail before arrival is not vailid any more after the guest is checked-in. Sometimes the Guest needs more time to fill on the information. Can you please leave the link in the mail active also after the check in. This is also in compliance with legislation, as the information in Austria has to be provided within 24/48 hrs after check-in date.

  6. If mews could sell USB camera modules that could be placed next to kiosks/computers for easier Document "Scanning".
    If all documents are the same brightness, distance from the lens it could speed up the scanning procedure.

Improve Guest Messaging Feature so it only indicates a NEW/UNREAD message for messages that were not read and or replied to by another team member, as it distracts from other things that may be a higher priority at the start of someone's shift. I can see having all messages coming up as new and unread for members of the management team to see how people are communicating back and forth with guests, but for the average front desk or housekeeping associate, it looks like unanswered requests.   8. With the thema Licence plates, the current online Registration cards do not have the option for guests to provide a plate nummber. So even though the guest completes the online check-in they still have to provide this information to the reception

  9. It will be great to have the opportunity to see all the changes made on all the customer profil, more particulary if a classification has been modified or take off. We have the opportunity to see it on a specific custumer profil, but we need to see all in the action log from the dashbord.

  11. Would be very nice if there is a group checking in online, that they can fill in a phone number and emailadres for every room.
    So when working with a digital key, every guest/room receives the correct key.
    Also would be perfect to split bills.

  12. With the latest functionality updates we do no longer have the company/travel agent vouchers available from the voucher option in Mews when making a new booking.

    Company/Travel agent bookings should now be made without specific voucher and only using the relevant company/travel agent profile.

    IDEA;
    1: Let the hotels be able to enable/disable this functionality! Since this functionality might not be a positive change for all properties.

  13. Heya - the current set-up in Mews allows for commission rates to be set to travel agencies.

    For GDS rates, this can be tricky, as you have to create each agency, and not all GDS rates are commissionable.

    I would like to suggest the possibility of indicating on a rate if it is commissionable or not, and what the commission rate is for the rate.

    I know it will become complicated if you have a commissionable rate, booked by a T/A which has a commission set up to it. But maybe it should be the rate that determines the commission…

  15. It would be nice if Mews gave an indication when a booking with a task is cancelled. For example, we set tasks for flower orders for a guest. So when the guest cancels, we can immediately see that flowers are also ordered for the guest, so we can cancel them as well.

  16. Please adjust the length of the e-mail queue to one year. I can look back for four months, but we book one year ahead. So this means that for most of my guests, I cannot see the confirmation e-mail. If the guest does not have it themselves, I cannot prove that and what they booked with us (which is very awkward as you can imagine).

  17. Provide an option to hotels where, in order to create a reservation (even through Commander), an authorization code with an authorizable credit card should be required and part of the 3 step reservation creation process.

    And, only certain users (or an override password) should be allowed to select an alternate payment method such as cash / directbill, etc.

    However, one way or another, at least an indication of payment method should be part of and required in the 3 step reservation creation process in commander.

  18. It would be great to have the option of having multiple emails with the account. Some people would like different charges invoiced to different emails (i.e. business card is only paying the room therefore that invoice goes to that email, and a personal email for all other expenses).

    Also another reason is husband and wife might want the invoice sent directly to there email

  20. A lot of People always travel together like spouse or friends.. With mews the fellow travellers gets lost except the person who uses mews knows that Person A is always traveling with person B. It would be fine that there is an option to connect guest profiles.
