  4. The term Last Room Value (LRV), refers to the maximum revenue a hotel can expect to make from the last room it has available for sale. It is used to avoid selling the last room below a certain rate – as when market demand is high the last room may be sold at a higher rate then normal

  6. It would be great when the company of booking agent which is related to the guest is shown in the reservation overview. For example shown guest name, related to company X.

  7. It would be nice to be able to promote specific products to specific rate groups segments or even more direct to specific rates and even better to be able to enable function for specific periods only.
    Example:
    - Offering Full day SPA access to OTA guest as an promotion in low season

  8. Segments are attached to rate codes in the settings of Mews. The segment attached to a rate code should always be attached to reservations with that rate code. Currently when users change the rate code of a reservation it retains the original segment. Additionally, users should not be able to change a segment on a reservation as this should be locked to the rate code.

  11. it is not always easy to find access to input calendar events. is there a way you are able to add it to the drop down menu for either rates or reservations, or even timeline.
    the only way i find it now is through burger menu, settings, services and then click back at the top left corner on the name of the property. seems a bit weird.

    plus it would be great if their could be a note field so that reservations know what rate, minimum stay, etc should be offered on those days

  12. One should be able to insert in the configuration the lowest rate to be typed when updating rates (BAR) so that no typing error can be made (for instance 9 instead of 99).

  13. Being able to have an audit trail or log of restrictions that have been amended or deleted. Currently if a restriction has been deleted its gone. you cant see who deleted. With regard to amending restrictions yes you have been who and when but you don't know what has been amended/added

  15. Matching the Manager report and Accounting report could be difficult as there is no option for a more granular view of the Manager report. Manager report should be expandable same as the Accounting report - have mode Grouped and Detailed so it can be drilled down to actual charges and bills.

  16. It would be necessary to have commander only rates which can be used by our receptionist only, that do not have any restrictions on it. Sometimes it is ok to sell one room of a category for maybe just one night at a certain time, but not the whole category. Also we offer our returner guests the possibilty to book their next vacation - same time - next year when they leave, but we do not sell it to any other person - not online, not at the OTA´s and not in person at the desk.   18. This is my idea on how Mews could benefit from having an Extended Status Page or a "Minor bug-report".

    Today, we dont have a clear view on what is currently bugged or been worked on by Mews support and their team. This feature would be great thing to minimize the amount of tickets that are being created today.

    I.e. I had no clue, that it currently is a bug that set OOS rooms to Dirty at night due to legionella and that the support team is aware of the issue and are working on a solution. Same goes with Rooms…

  19. It would save a lot of time (and misstakes) if products, rates, etc can be duplicated instead of always having to start from scratch. Except for the obvious hassle of having to remember all the settings it would help us in keeping name-standards etc.
    function could be an option on any specific product/rate/category to "duplicate". That would open the "new entity" page but with the same options/texts etc pre-filled, ready for us to change as needed before saving.
