City taxes for children
City taxes amount is different between adults and children, and among children based on their age.
Would be useful to create a rule that recognises the different kind of partecipants and their age among children, showing, then, the different amounts due

Hello MEWS,
city tax options for children shouldn't be a nice-to-have in a PMS but a must-have! -

I read now comments and suggestions going back more than 2 years relating to children.
PLEASE MEWS, get a hold on children issues. Every hotel is in a different location with different rules regarding children (distributor, statistics, tourist taxes, extra bed costs, meals, breakfast, etc). So please just give us hotels the possibility to have about 3 types of children ages or other solution, but please a solutions. Never had to many discussions about children cost as this summer. Not one single guests understands why booking directly with us children have to pay the full tourist tax while when reserving via booking.com the count is done correctly.
BIG BIG PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED ASAP. PLS -

In the Ticino (Switzerland) children und 14 y.o. do not pay any city tax.
For the City tax payment it would be useful if the costumer statistic report would state the difference between adults and children so that we can communicate everything correctly to the authorities. and maybe also make a calculation deducting the kids from the total of night stays. -

City taxes have to match our legal environment. Under 6 year old, under 16 years old and babies which are for fee. In our case in Switzerland, Mews should recognized separately adluts (over 16), children (between 6 and 16) and babies (under 6 years old). Thanks for your consideration.
