  3. To create a new filter ' by user' or 'group of users', to be able to schedule a report of reservations made the day before by specific users, e.g. reservations office users, not to have to pull the report and then filter by creator manually.
    Also, one report for all properties for multi-property companies would be useful.

  4. Supporting a bar code reader integration. The property wishes to scan products with bar codes.
    They would like to scan physical product such as ''bottle of wine'' and it would automatically add to the guest's bill.

  6. It is today possible to automatize preauthorizations but we can't decide the amount that need to be charged. For example an automatic preauthorizations of 500€ would be charged on check in time less 4 hours for a specific type of property (if failed, check in would then be restricted->an email is automatically sent). On an other property type it would be 1500€. I think it could be done through the space type

  10. As customers come to check in for their reservations, sometimes your property may have vacant rooms of a higher category. Therefore, notifications for your front of house staff regarding available room categories for an additional price could be a great way to upsell and book your location to full occupancy.

  11. Many properties have different cleaning schedules based on space type or standard interval. Currently there is only a single housekeeping interval available in Mews, so additional customization fields could allow properties to choose more detailed procedures for their housekeeping assignment and scheduling.

  12. Setting prices for stay products can be difficult, especially when properties use dynamic pricing based on season or day of the week. Based on this dynamic pricing scheme, this feature could also be extended to stay products, allowing properties to inflate prices based on demand as is necessary.

  13. Many properties would prefer to see custom calculations of their revenue. While some properties use the Net value, others prefer to include service charges, late check out fees, etc. With a custom calculation tool in accounting configuration, properties could then easily calculate revenue in the way that is most valuable for them.

  14. For chains, it can be difficult to manage multiple properties, often switching back and forth using one reservation screen. However, this could be solved with a central chain reservation overview screen, making it possible to view operation data about all your connected properties simultaneously.

  15. Some properties like to overbook their occupancy for specific occasions or in case of no shows. This, however, could cause some issues in case there are still any displaced bookings to accommodate on that overbooked date. For this reason, some properties would prefer to disable the option to overbook once availability has reached 0%, including stays that have already been overbooked. This will ensure a positive experience for all guests as it will guarantee that you will have a space for every booking that was made for your property.

  17. For multi-property chains, a user would be able to switch whole reservation from hotel A to hotel B. (That could be a user management setting.) If we have overbookings and we could shift the whole reservation, that would save a lot of time and information like the guest's payment in hotel A would not get lost.

  19. Mews holds a lot of very important operational data for each property, which is very important to keep record of. Properties often rely on this information to determine future data as well, so with individually accessible and complete storage of each property's historical data, users will always be able to access this data for future reference.

  20. Refunding a transaction can involve sensitive processes and effect property revenue, which means that employees should use the upmost care as they give refunds to guests. With the addition of a user privilege, properties could restrict this action to be completed by only management or admin users. This could prevent mistakes in the future or help managers keep a closer eye on all refunded revenue.
