Option for "Start check in X minutes before arrival time"
When using digital solutions and integrations, accurate timing is crucial.
In Mews, the selected arrival time does not always match the exact check-in time when using automated check-in. Sometimes, there can be an additional delay of up to 10 minutes before the reservation is fully checked in, causing issues—for instance, when promising guests "check-in at 3 PM" and having an automated flow dependent on the exact check-in time.
By implementing an option like "Start check-in X minutes before arrival time," each property could individually accommodate this delay, significantly improving the guest experience.

Functionality to stop overbookings
Our establishment has to deal with numerous overbookings and, following discussions with your support team, we were told that Mews does not have any features designed to prevent this situation. Overbookings are a nightmare for responsible hoteliers, who have to find alternative accommodation at their own expense if no solution can be found internally, and they have a negative impact on the satisfaction of the guests affected. Streamlining Payment Entry During Reservation Creation
It would be much more efficient if we could add a new payment method directly while creating a reservation—without needing to first create a profile or open a separate tab. Many of us finalize reservations without a payment method initially, so having this option in the same workflow would really streamline the process.

Pricing tab of Reservation Screen: Add Date Picker on Change Rate Field
Allow clients to be able to custom-select different rate codes for a reservation via the "Change Rate" field in the Pricing TAB by adding a date picker feature.

Make Digital Key available for guests who have booked more than one service
Currently if a guest has a reservation with more than one bookable service, let's say a room and a parking spot, they cannot get a Digital Key for the room.
The guest should always be offered a Digital Key when enabled on the property and the space, regardless of what other bookable service they have on the same reservation group.

Pop-up alert on reservations
The option of setting automatic alerts to pop-up during different stages of reservations, such as during check-in, any time you open the reservation, during check-out. The alert text should be customizable, so a user can enter anything there, but also the possibility of adding standard alerts depending on membership level, profile classifications, specific rates, etc.

kiosk check in balance
The guest can check in at kiosk even if the balance is 1.000 DKK - due routing rule. Company has a) guest who always get sent a bill to company and b) guest who needs to pay themselves at the hotel. The host gets the room amount back to guest profile from company, but the kiosk do not ask the guest to pay. So the guest check in and out without paying.

Online booking cant work with restrictions
It would be prefered ou guest are be able to book multiple nights via online booking even though there are restrictions. We have high and low season and it is important that guests can book across them. For example, a Thursday - Saturday in October will be two different prices

Add separate rate type (not price) per night
We often have groups staying on the basis of bed & breakfast for the first night and a package deal from the second night onwards.
We would like to be able to indicate in one reservation cq room, per night, which rate or rate group should be used. So not the PRICE, but actually select a specific rate type.
Now we have to make two separate reservations, which is very confusing for our Housekeeping and Front Office.

Possibility to fix the rate order in the reservation form
It should be possible to set the order of the rates yourself in the reservation form. At the moment it is apparently incomprehensibly coincidental.
The ordering works in the settings but not in the reservation form.
It is very annoying when you have to open the dropdown menu every time because the most booked rate is not displayed first.29 votes -
Dispay daily rate on the calendar
Displaying the rate (Best rate of the day) on the calendar would save time on two levels:
1- When making a reservation, it would be possible to inform the customer at a glance about the availability of a room and to communicate the rate of the room.2- displaying the rates on the calendar would help to check the correct configuration of the rates and to make changes/adjustments if necessary.

Wir haben verschiedene Raten auch mit Reiseveranstaltern vereinbart, bestimmte Produkte sollen nur dieser Rate zugeordnet werden. Dies ist im Moment anscheinend nicht möglich.

Show total price and package details in availability report
I want the availability report to show not just the base room rate, but also the total price including products when a specific package is selected. Otherwise, it always displays the base rate from which the package price is derived, making the option to view all rates pointless.

When creating a new reservation and you have multiple services to choose from, make the whole row for the service clickable, instead of just the "Select" button on the right.

Manually select the cancellation fee % to apply
In the event of an early departure on which a reduced penalty has been allowed, it is currently not possible to adjust the lower penalty when the 'Apply Cancellation fee' box is selected, since that field only shows the related penalty charge.
Can we have the option, from Mews Operations, to either apply the standard penalty charge, or, override it with a lower penalty instead? This will enable the automatic posting of the cancellation fee in a format that is compliant with the VAT exemption rule for Italian properties.

Enhance Product City Tax Configuration for Maximum Nights
The current product city tax functionality needs an urgent update to support a maximum night charge (e.g., up to 7 nights). Presently, the system applies the city tax to all reservation nights, requiring manual adjustments for exceeding nights. From a non-technical standpoint, this appears to be a configuration issue that could be easily resolved with a system enhancement.
