  2. When viewing the timeline. availability blocks are not visible. It would be good to be able to see availability blocks on the timeline.

    When the team look at the timeline it is misleading regarding availability if large availability blocks are in place.

  3. There is a recurring need for hotels to track multiple reservations assigned to a unit. Oftentimes 2+ individuals, arriving at separate times, will each need a reservation for the same unit/dates. Sometime that nightly rate will also need to be split between these reservations.

  4. A bunch of our repeat guests either have no email address or make the reservations in person and want a physical copy of the confirmation letter. Kind of odd that this simple feature doesn't exist.

  6. Guests often abort the Online CI at the credit card entry field, but complete the guest registration process. A completed guest registration should somehow be marked in MEWS as it saves time for the receptionist and creates a better guest experience.

    Possible solutions:
    Header text: must be checked in - Completed guest registration - Checked in Online
    Icon somewhere in the reservations of the arrival field
    When printing out guest registration cards, replace those of the guests that already completed the form with the actual completed PDF. (prefered solution)

  8. Reservation screen has multiple tabs - billing, payments, dashboard, profile. It takes a lot of steps to find all information and it doesn't sit in one place. Simplify getting around the reservation with all the details.

  9. Hide dedicated OTA mapping rate categories from the reservation screen when only the external channel manager (Like Cubilis from Stardekk for example) has a use of them

When an inhouse guest must move rooms for whatever reason such as extended stay or change due to category capacity or to another catagory that Mews is able to see this and combine the entire stay into one booking for our registration cards. So that we have a complete record of where the guest will be in house during their stay. At the moment we must print seperate registration cards for each invividual room.

  13. It would be really great if we could quickly add notes to a booking from the timeline, in the side panel that opens when you click on a reservation.

    Now, to add a note you have to click once to view the details, once on Manage, then in Properties and scroll down to add notes.

    I would like to know if it's possible to add the field of passport information (number, date of validity, etc...) to the registration cards. Some of our clients are from other countries and might need VISA so we can give them the information to prepare the VISA.

  15. Option to directly add the CC in the process of making a new reservation. Otherwise you need to go to the profile and add it there. It cost extra steps / clicks and also the change to forget to add the CC.

    It shout also be linked to the rate you choose -> non refundable, always ask for a CC.

  16. Provide functionality for auto-allocation of bookings to units, in order to spread revenue income evenly across owners. Rather than Top-Down, Bottom-Up, or Random, taking prior YTD revenue consumed by unit in to account would help spread revenue evenly and keep owners happy (particularly w/ Condo-Hotel types where individuals own specific units and put them in rental pools)

  18. Can you make a view for the timeline that is not by hour but by day only.
    Currently when checking availability you have to scroll past the actual date.
    EX: The timeline will show a space in the middle of the 15th that will make you think that the 15th is vacant but when you scroll past the 15th into the 16th you actually realize that the 15 is not vacant.

  19. When booking a reservation for a guest who will have several room moves during their stay, I would like the ability to link these reservations so it does not appear as if the guest is leaving and arriving when they are only changing rooms.

    • If two reservations within a guests dashboard are linked and the consecutive reservation is within a 24 hour period then
    • Don't count guest as departing
    • Don't count guest as arriving
    • Count guest as stay over

    This is important for departments like the front desk, but also effect the guest in terms of confirmation emails. Otherwise the…

  20. In the check out report we can see a lot of details for the reservation but not the set departure time. It would be good to see the set departure time or have the check-out report sorted by departure time.
