  1. Bonjour il faudrait que l'on puisse customiser l'e-mail "commande ajoutée" afin de pouvoir faire figurer les conditions d'annulation du tarif au même titre qu'il est possible de le faire sur l'e-mail "confirmation de réservation" reçu par le client.

  2. Customer X has booked room category #1. If I manually upgrade him (drag and drop) to a higher category, say #2, then the OTA's availabilities will be updated to reflect this upgrade. Then, If I manually downgrade X in his original requested category the OTA'a availabilities will be once more updated and revert to their original state. However, if X is downgraded not by manual drag and drop but by being "bumped" into his original category through the dragging and dropping of another customer Y onto X's room, then the new availabilities resulting from this bumped downgrade will not be…

  3. There is a setting in the system to instruct optional and inquired reservations to auto release. To operate a waitlist it would be better to split this instruction so that inquired bookings auto release and optional reservations don't auto release.

  4. After restoring a cancelled booking the status is automatically "Confirmed" and there is no possibility to change it.

    It would be very useful to have the possibility to choose the status (Confirmed/Optional/Inquiry) to which the booking should be restored.

    Specially for group tentative/optional bookings which have been cancelled after the option date and need to be restored because the guest is still interested, but the booking is not confirmed yet.

  5. You should be able to make changes to a reservation after the bill has been closed. This would just create a new separate bill with the extra charge/credit.

  6. Hello,

    Just want to give feedback and maybe you do have this issue under your To Do list.

    Guest's check in and check out in mews.
    Then guests do have reservations for next night and next next day, for different rate etc.

    Reception is not able to make key in the same room for two different reservations, in this case we do it manually. Sometimes, payment is paid, key cards are made, the CHECK IN button is forgotten.

    Same situation, if a guest checks out and pays his bill, then some sale spich and reception forgot to press the CHECK…

  7. We would like to send our guests as little email as possible. Therefore, it would be great to be able to confirm two bookable services in one mail. For example parking and a room reservation. To avoid having to send to many emails.

  8. Currently, if a guest books multiple rooms, and even if they have multiple names listed for that registration, you can only print one registration card, and that card will only have one of the room numbers on it. It would be much better to be able to print a card for each room.

  9. Currently, Mews does not allow sending an automated email before the guest's arrival to request a bank pre-authorization as a guarantee. It is currently possible to realize a pre-authorization but only on the amount of the reservation. So I want to realize a pre-authorization for the booking amount and add the deposit amount, for example 500 euros. Can you add this feature please?

  10. Many details are visible in the overview field but for us a very important detail is who made the booking.
    This person has the overview and does the follow up.
    Now I have to go to "Action log" which is packed with all kinds of updates often irrelevant to the case and scroll all the way down to the bottom to find the name of the creator.
    I need to know ASAP who made the booking so I know who to ask about the booking.

  11. This was already posted before and it got 25 votes. The moderator answered that there is already an 'in person' option but this is not enough as there are more actions that happen 'in person'. As a hotel you want to distinguish between walk-ins and extensions from reservations that both happen in person.

  12. Adding a mandatory reason for waiving cancellation fees would help with internal auditing and accountability. We have a lot of cases where staff don't remember why the fees were waived and we are losing out on money. Providing this extra option would give the GMs a a good tool to monitor.

  13. Tasks Management: certain automated events in Mews create Automated Tasks. Admins would love the option to disable some of the recurring tasks

    Most automated Tasks, except for the Manual Settlement task enabled in the rate group setting, do not currently have the setting to edit/disable the task at will (for example: when payment requests are fulfilled).

  14. Add a unique icon for a third category of age so in reports, we can easily see the difference between the adults, the kids and the teenagers as for some products, teenagers pay same price as adults but for others they don't so we need this distinct category.

  15. I would like to propose an enhancement to our reservation reinstatement feature that would greatly benefit our reception team and our guests. Currently, our system requires manually doing new reservations after a 12-hour period has elapsed. However, I suggest implementing an automatic process whereby upon reinstatement, the system adjusts the arrival date to the current day.

    Consider a scenario where a guest's check-in date is scheduled for March 19th, with a check-out date of March 23rd. If the guest is a no-show on March 19th but arrives on March 20th, we aim to reinstate the reservation with the new check-in…

  16. In order to avoid seeing "None" under nationality in the customer statistics due to missing companion's profile, I would suggest that the system take the owner guest's nationality as default.

  17. When you need to extend a booking, you manually need to move future booking(s) before extending. If the future bookings aren't locked they should just be replaced in the timeline the same way as if you move between spaces.

    The problem happens when hotels are quite fully booked and you need to remove space for reservations and the puzzle it all together again after extending the one reservation in question.

  18. It would be really useful for us to have the ability, in a group reservation, to configure the consumption of products for each day in different ways.
    Example for a 3 night stay:
    - With the first night: consumption of one dinner only
    - With the second night: consumption of breakfast, lunch and supper
    - With the 3rd night: consumption of breakfast, dinner and supper. Plus the consumption of lunch on the morning of departure.
    So, for example, our kitchen team could know the number of products to prepare for each day simply by consulting the Product Report.

  19. Currently when a locked booking has it's properties changed the booking will automatically unlock. There is no notification of this and it can be missed by the user making the change. If left unlocked there is a high chance it is accidentally moved on the timeline causing issues dependant on the reason it was initially locked (Guest has requested a specific room etc)

  20. I was trying to have 3 sets of restrictions on a given Rate Group.
    - One for arrivals up to 90 days
    - One for arrivals between 91 & 120 days
    - One over 120 days.

    Any smart ideas as to how this can be addressed, without having to create seperate rates to deal with each restriction.
