Internal messaging to be available by Department rather than by Employees only
While the internal messaging is a great tool for Ops teams, to ensure completion of a task (or just share an information) it would be great to be be able to message a department (i.e front office/housekeeping) rather than just a specific employee.

Reservation Tags
Make coloured tags on timeline for each reservation so we see straight away the type of guest: for example returning guest, journalist, vip guest or guest with a dog or guest with a special order etc.
It avoids clicking around to find the information. You can make the tags for reservations or guests.

See the difference of single use and double use in the bookingsummery
It would be helpfull to see in the reservation summery how many double use and single users are in the booking. Especially in group bookings, you need to count every time when the client adjust the number and forwards the namelist.

Possibility to change the number of guests to zero
As we can have charged cancellations, we often let a room checked-in with 0 guest in house to keep a high occupancy rate even if the room is empty.
Currently, it is not possible to put less than one guest per room, so the city tax is posted and the reports are false.2 votesHello from the Mews product team.

Retain departed guests on the check out report once they have checked out.
On the check out report - once a guest has been checked out they disappear from the list. Can they just be moved in to a lower segment on the screen so that they can still be found from the check out report?

Turn off notification sounds

We would like to be able to turn off the sound when a notification comes in.
when we are talking to guests, it is very annoying when we hear a 'ping' in our ear all the time.

edit daily rate and change room number for options
Currently daily rate is not amendable once the bookings are created, with a status OPTION (not confirmed). We used to have it but not anymore.
Also, we can never change room allocation if the booking is an option.1 vote -
Products and Services - Bookable on X Day of Week Only
Products and services that are bookable during the reservation process should have a Day of Week Restriction.
IE: Hotel wants to offer a product that is only available if a guest is going to be staying over a Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday.
If a guest is going to be checking in Sunday and Checking out Wednesday, the product should display and be bookable.
However, if they are checking in Wedneday & Checking out Thursday, the product should not display and be bookable as they guest wont be in house when the product is offered.

we need a reason - test. We run tests in demo and smoke tests in prod.

display of reservation empty
sometimes when you open a reservation there is no information displayed (at all). you need to click on another tab to go back to your "properties" tab to view.

Add a note for client when creating a reservation
That will be very useful to have the possibility to add a note for the customer when creating a reservation. This feature would prevent us from having to send additionnals e-mails. For the moment we only have the possibilty to add a note for ourselves...
