  1. Today, if you have an overbooking of 2 Classic rooms, but only 1 Deluxe room, the system will still send availability for 1 Deluxe room even though you are in overbooking of 1 room. It can be extremely dangerous.

  2. I would like to have the choice to have the relative adjustment made on the full price, OR only on the nights.
    I don't want to give 10% off on the City Tax or on the breakfast, only on the nights.

  4. For better usage of managing and deleting of restrictions there would be great to have a calendar which can display there restrictions and enable to manage them.

  6. At the moment it is not possible to send messages from the Mews Commander app only receive them. It would be a quick and useful tool for the Mewsers e.g. to communicate from HK to FO.

    Hello Mewsers,

    Thank you for the feedback and upvotes. We are very happy to inform you that it is possible to filter the reservation overview arrival report by alphabetic order as requested.

    In order to make use if this feature, you can select the “Ordering” filter in the “Arrivals” tab, and select “Customer”. This will automatically order your reservations in ascending order, alphabetically.

  9. Currently, stay products are posted on bills on the day of a guest's checkout, however, this can complicate the billing process for some properties. Therefore, splitting stay products per night and listing them on day of consumption could be very helpful for clarity and also for reporting, as revenue per day would be visible in Accounting and Manager reports.

    Stay products are now posted on the date they’re consumed. All existing products have been replaced with products with the updated settings. Any products posted to an existing, future reservation were also updated to the new posting settings.

    How do you like the feature so far and do you have any ideas for the future?

  11. Company profiles are very important to keep track of business travelers and are used to analyze data regarding corporate stays. For this reason, it is always important to keep company details up to date. As many companies change or if there are any duplicate profiles, it could then be very useful to implement company profile merging, similar to the feature available for customer profiles. This addition can help keep all profiles up to date and encourage consolidation in your property's system.

  12. As a group reservations agent I often handle requests for large group reservations of 50 + guests. Many of these request come from business, travel agents or private tour groups. I generally have a single point of contact from the time reservations are made to the final confirmation prior to arrival.

    Between the booking and confirmation process I often have to make several alterations to the reservation, which can consists of anything from adding/ removing guests to moving guests to different rooms. Many of the communications I have with clients (bookers/reservation owners) are done via email where I often share…

    Hello Mewsers!

    Thank you for your continued feedback and suggestions.

    We are happy to inform you that tentative, or as we’ve called them “Inquired” reservations are available in Mews Commander.

    You can create reservations with the Inquired state from the third step of the new reservations screen by selecting the “Status” dropdown and clicking “Inquiry”.

    Inquired reservations do not take spaces out of inventory, you can, however update the status of the reservations to either optional, confirmed or cancelled. Updating the status of a reservation to confirmed or optional will assign a room for your chosen reservation.

    In addition to the above inquired reservations can also be created with a release date.

    Thank you for the feedback and suggestions, we are very happy to inform you that the space status report allows you to filter by alternate reservation states.

    You can choose whether you would like to view reservations that have been confirmed (definite reservations) , reservations that are currently optional or both! Simply select the “status” filter in the reservations report and apply the changes that you would like to view.

  17. in the new reservation module only an average price is displayed. a total price would be easier. possibly leaving the choice to the user as to what may be displayed.

  18. When a secretary or organizer, organize a booking on behalf of someone else, include an additional field for booker on the reservation, so that you could run a reservations report against the bookers.

  19. Setting prices for stay products can be difficult, especially when properties use dynamic pricing based on season or day of the week. Based on this dynamic pricing scheme, this feature could also be extended to stay products, allowing properties to inflate prices based on demand as is necessary.

  20. To add additional self-service options for your guests, online checkout could help lessen traffic during peak checkout hours and eliminate queues from your reception desk. On the morning of departure, guests could use a link from their checkout email to review their bills, check out of their rooms, and then drop off their keys on their way out.
