  4. In case of group bookings, would it be possible to select several rooms which have the space category to move them to another space category instead of doing one by one?

  5. We have long term residential guests who stay with us through a partner provider and who each sign a contract before they arrive - it would be great to be able to attach a copy of the contract to the guest profile so we can refer to it quickly and easily.

    Hello from the Mews product team,

    Thank you for your feedback. We are very happy to inform you that as per your request we have added the option to customise your confirmation email per space type.

    In order to make use of this functionality:
    1. Select a space category (settings > property > space categories)
    2. Scroll down to “Order email template”
    3. Enter the text you would like to be sent to your guests and hit save.
    4. The text will now appear under the “Additional info” section of your confirmation email for the desired space.

    NOTE: The text does not need to be in custom HTML to appear correctly in the email.

    We are happy to inform you that we currently support the functionality that allows you to view who updated and task and when.

    In order to view the last user to update a task, select the task and view the “Updated” section at the bottom.

  8. Print only the lead guest registration card instead of a card for each profile on the reservation. When guests check in online, they often add all guest profiles so there can be 2 or more profiles on one room. This currently means that the equivalent number of registration cards print out which is quite wasteful in paper. It would be great to have a default to tick as " print lead guest registration card only".

    On the 24th of June 2020 we released the functionality that will allow guest to complete and sign their registration cards from Mews Navigator when they checkIn in online. 


    This means that you no longer have to worry about printing registration cards at all! (unless you are legally required to of cause).

  10. It would be grate with a tablet that is on the reception counter, where the registration card comes up for the to sign or input data. That way we would save a lot of time and paper

    Hello from the Mews Product team,

    We are very happy to inform you that we have expanded the paperless experience for you and your guests. Not only can you allow your guests to sign their registration cards from the Mews Operator (Kiosk) at check-in, you can also provide your guests with the option to sign their registration cards before arriving at your property using the Mews Navigator application.

  11. Onthe Resume of the reservation, an idea would be to have the Day of the date, mentioned next to Arrival & departure
    So when you check reservation, or have a guest on the phione asking you to dubbel check the res. with him, you can easear sya, tyou arrival on Wednesday 2 sep and C/O on friday 4/9

    We are happy to inform you that you are currently able to see the day of the ween a guest will be arriving and departing from the summary tab of the reservation module.

  12. Make a view specially designed for the breakfast team.

    They want to have a few with: guestname, roomnumber, how many persons. They want to track who came and who still need to have breakfast. So a simple checkbox in that list would do.

    Also the day before a prediction for the amount of breakfast next day, that is easy to access for the breakfast team members.

    We have removed the social scores from the Dashboard. We are still looking into ways how we can further optimize the space available on the dashboard. Please keep providing suggestions for things you'd love to see on the dashboard. 

  14. Ability to add a stay product from guest's bookings with possibility to choose charging mode:
    Once
    Per night
    Per person
    Per person per night
    Selected charging mode has priority over default charging mode of product stay.

    Selected charging mode should have the priority over default charging mode of the stay product.

    E.G = EX: Have 1 product called BKFST and in reservation pick if ppp or pp etc.

  15. Since you can't undo cancellations there is no point in having them displayed together with future or current reservations. They could be displayed somewhere else. When you select all reservations the cancellations are also selected, at the same time your editing options on the left side of the display decrease because it now also refers to the cancelled bookings which you can't edit...Why? Either remove cancelled bookings at least from that display fully or let the select all button select everything but the cancelled bookings.

    We are very happy to inform you that we have released the new group billing screen!

    On this new screen we have separated bill items from past and future reservations. Now you can stick to seeing the relevant bills for your reservation in the selected stay period

    Don’t worry, we haven’t gotten rid of it completely! We have created an additional billing screen for each guest. You can access this screen by selecting “All guest’s bills” in the new billing screen. This will show you all open past, present and future bills for the guest you have selected, with convenient tags so you always know which bills are relevant for you.

    Please note this functionality is only available on the new billing screen which will continue to run along side the current billing module.

Recently a check in a create keys button was added to each booking which is great it checks in and creates the keys for the customers HOWEVER! it only works after 4pm, because our official check in is at 4pm. what we would like will be the function to work at any time! and instead a pop up will appear that will say it is not 4pm yet would you like to create the key? yes, no. and it will create them either way as long as it leaves a record that they were created before or after 4.

    This was due to a bug that has since been resolved. A key can be cut at any time after the reservation is checked in. As long as the check-in is completed, there is no problem cutting a key prior to the default reservation start time set by the property.

  19. There is only one value which can be assigned to a stay product. Some products can have variable values. A setting would be helpful to allow some products to have their value changed. This would allow for variable products to be billed/reported against reservations as opposed to as editable service product.

  20. I recommend adding a field to the customer profile or reservation about disabilities. For example, someone in a wheelchair that cannot use the top bunk. Personally, I would like to let the hotel know that I am deaf.
