Hi Mewsers! We're happy to announce that we've released the Messaging API (& webhook)!
Whether you're using an external tool or handling everything in Mews chat, you can now unify all messages to and from guests in one place.
Integration partners are now able to check out the use case in our API documentation and start building a connection to the Mews chat function.

We reopened this request for further upvotes. It is fairly clear what is being requested and it will need more investigation from Mews. In the mean time we would ask you to continue to up vote if this is still a required connectivity feature request.

In the same way as Marion Leijtens, we use an integration for guest messaging (in our case Hijiffy) with our guests, and we want to send them the link for check-in through Mews, that now can only be sent through the Mews emails. These emails have a low open rate, and therefore no so much people check-in online. I suppose the solution would be to add to Connector API the option to take the data for that link or token associated to that guest/reservation.

We’re building a feature that lets you automatically redirect products from guest bills to company bills. This will not support routing to a paymaster profile yet, but it may already help you.

We need that in a reservation from an specific travel agency all its charges automatically goes to the company bill (or the paymaster of this company), so the balance in the guest account is 0. Some travel agencies charges themselves to the guest and manually we have to move the charges to the company bill or the paymaster of this company, so it does not allow to work with properties with reduced staff and automatic kiosk check-in (as the balance of the guest will not be 0, but the the guest has already payed to the travel agency)

It is a basic feature. We need because we have an online check-in machine (no Operator) and it is basic for it. We hope this feature release soon.

Unfortunately, this request has not received the necessary upvotes to be added to the Mews development roadmap and is unlikely to be delivered.

We think this could be a great improvement in Mews Navigator, as we could connect integrations such as HiJiffy, and apply a complete chatbot to Mews chat while having all the conversations in the same place.
