This status update is part of our ongoing work to simplify and streamline how our UserVoice feedback forum operates. Hi all,
Thanks to the current feedback, we decided to move back this idea to be upvoted.
We did release Mews Terminals, however, due to security reasons, we will not store that card for future use.
Most of the upvotes mentioned that they’d like that functionality – even though the current Mews terminal is a huge step towards automation – providing the possibility to charge or pre-authorize a card without the need to ask a guest to give you card details & where you’d need to type in manually back information to Mews…

Yes please, Salto KS is the best door lock solution at this moment. And Mews has no proper connection to Salto KS as of yet. Operto and Hoteltab do not have the full integration up and running. And mix things up with their own platforms and clutter.
The possibility of having a PIN code send (or displayed) to the guest after the checkin process is complete would make self-service apartments in Mews A LOT better.
