Hello all,
This status update is part of our ongoing work to simplify and streamline how our UserVoice feedback forum operates. We are reducing the number of statuses to two (Idea to Upvote + Released) to help manage expectations about where each idea stands and to minimize the number of status updates required from our product teams. Our product team reviews everything you share, and we might reach out for more info if we need it.

The lack of extra payment options in Mews is costing hotels a lot of money. Stripe has options to pay online with bancontact, so it cannot be so hard for Mews to activate this. I'm afraid they earn too much money with there cut in Mastercard / Visa commissions. That's not all, the new Bancontact and Maestro cards have also Mastercard debit on board. So payments with the Mews terminals are being handled as Mastercard / Visa Debet payment with high Mastercard / Visa commissions in stead of Maestro commission. Basically this means you pay commission x5 on Bancontact transactions. Mews should focus on being a PMS, not a payment provider with high commissions.
