Guest Residence
Due to Covid-19 and link with local (city) lockdown, it will become necessary for the hotels to have the Guest Residency data and not only the passport data.

Show company name on timeline (option)
It would be good to get the option to change the timeline view and display the company name instead of guest name / sometimes we need to be able to see which companies have guests staying, now you would have to click into each booking to find this out

Wij hebben foto's van de kamers geupload voor de commander. De beelden zijn in Mews goed en compleet, in de commander niet.

example: how did you travel to the Netherlands? Do you have any coronavirus symptoms? What if the motive of your visit (with options): 1. Business 2. Staycation 3. Leisure etc

create custom fields for customer / guest profiles
It would be great if you could add custom fields to a customer profile to save specific information.
We would need that for example to save information regarding our data privacy policy.

Notes should be on the status tab. some where easily visisble so that agents dont miss important details. Notes should also pop up when you open the reservation and the agent can dismiss the note once its read.

country codes
Please use ISO country codes. There are countries with code GB, and reports, bills, customer profile following comes out: United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
It occupies 3 lines on an invoice; each report pulled in excel has a wide gap to type the whole country name.
Please change system as I think most people working in hotels, hostels, campings, and so on, are very well aware of country codes such as: CH, IT, DE, GB, US, CI, ....9 votesHello from the Mews product team,

Faster passport scanning FASTER check-in!
Recently Mews released the "MewsPassportScan" the feature is great! but we feel like its incomplete, if you have used it before, you will agree.
The feature allows you to scan the guests passport with the webcam of the computer, this then populates the passport fields with one click making the process way smoother, HOWEVER!!!!
If you have more than one attendant on a booking this feature flaws massively, as you have to create individual user profiles for the additional guests ONE BY ONE!
This means that from 1 click one guest, it turns in to 8 clicks per guest profile.…18 votesHello from the Mews product team. Reservation Report with CC cardholder name too
In order to have an immediate comparison on both of the names (reservation and CC cardholder) that would allow the perception of eventual discrepancies and/or fraud tentative that could cause Charge-backs.

When there are several contacts in a company that use the same e-mail address, this should be possible. Now you can only use contact per e-mail.

"Send invoice"-option from the Check-out report (Company/Private)
The Check-out report is a fast way to check out guests, if only it was possible to have an option to select a box called "send invoice to customer". Would also be great if there could be a possibility to move the invoices between private and company before sending them and/or a symbol showing if it's a company invoice.

When a specific rate is booked, automatically populate the company to the reservation. E.G. If you book the rate "MEWS" the system will add "MEWS" as a company to the reservation

Internal classification in most used order instead of alphabetical order.
When we look in a guest profile we have the option to put a internal classification. I would like the possibility to order these on most used classifications instead of alphabetical order. This to prevent putting guest by accident on the 'blacklist'.
