  1. At our property we have limited parking spots available to our guest. At this moment the option to book a parking spot is hidden in the list of products in the engine when parking is fully booked. However, it would be great if the bookings engine could show it as sold out/fully booked. This would help us receiving fewer questions and not having to disappoint guest when we let them know they cannot park after they made their room reservation.

  2. Be able to search customer by phone number using the following API: https://mews-systems.gitbook.io/connector-api/operations/customers#search-customers

    In Mews application it's already possible, so it would be good to have feature parity in the API

  3. For hotels with multiple rooms with different occupancy rates, it would be very helpful if the search results in the booking engine would reflect the searched occupancy. Currently, this is not possible and rooms are always shown in the same order in the booking engine, no matter for how many people you want to book a room.

    Desired behavior: if you search for a room for 2 persons, 2-person rooms are shown at the top. But if you search for a 6-person room, the 6-person rooms should be shown at the top.

  4. On results page, the number of searched adults is located on a separate event (ga4FetchedWithOccupancy) from the event containing a Data Layer with searched dates, availableRooms, prices, currency. Include the searched adults number in the data layer of ga4CategoriesLoaded

  5. Create the option for a guest photo to be added to the Internals - Guest Notes section of MEWS please.
    The new update is great with categorized notes.
    Being able to upload a picture of our VIP and regular guests would be really helpful

  6. The requested feature is that guests can register on a wait list on fully booked dates with automatic email notifications for when rooms are again available on the desired date(s).

    This would remove any need for manual labor from the hotel side to handle wait lists.

    Example:
    - Guest tries to book a room Aug 1st - Aug 2nd
    - Hotel is fully booked
    - Guest opts in to our guest list by entering their email address
    - Hotel opens up for bookings on Aug 1st
    - Guest automatically receives email saying that the date(s) they searched for now have…

  7. Vouchers can be associated with companies or travel agencies (instead of being public). However, currently, when a voucher is used to book a reservation, there is no voucher information or company / travel agency information attached to that reservation in Mews.

    It would be very helpful if company / travel agency and voucher codes could be attached to reservation data and if those voucher-based reservations can be searched for through the reservations reports.

  8. When a reservation goes through Siteminder the booker information is not added in Mews. We have alot of reservations made by a booker for a guest, when the guest arrives we only have their name and the booked details are gone so if the booker wants to pay we have to add this information manually after finding it in siteminder. its all there we just need the information to be added into Mews as well.

  9. When we decided to use Mews, a big point was the booking engines features. When searching for a room for 3 or 4 persons, only rooms having 3 or 4 beds where shown for booking.
    Without telling anybody about the change, Mews now shows also rooms having pnly two beds and asked the guest to book more rooms. If a family wants to stay at our resort, the want a room/apartment having 3 or 4 beds, not 2 seperated apartments with 2 beds each. So please make it possible to change this.   11. It would be great if you can set a limit on bookable items. For instance a max amount of 3 for late check-outs or early check-ins. That way you can upsell without putting too much pressure on the housekeeping team.

  12. when booking multiple rooms, it should become possible to add ALL names for the rooms, especially when different room types are combined.

    we have several corporate clients for whom we provide a seperate booking engine, and they sometimes book multiple rooms at once but do wish to specify the name per room booked.

  13. When a customer buys a voucher (gift card) on vouchercart or any other gift card integration, we want the gift card balance to be pushed to Mews AND deduced from any future invoice that the customer makes, which is not currently the case. All gift cards vouchers are therefore completely useless. Not having a 100% fully automatic gift card system in a hotellerie management software in 2023 is not solving a stone age problem.

  14. It should be possible to add multiple pictures to be displayed for products on the booking engine (Mews distributor). The pictures should be a carousel, displayed in the "Enhance your stay" section for add-on products.

  16. Display lowest available public rate in booking engine while selecting dates ( similar to SynXis booking engine), or show no availability.

  19. Looking for IBE that ONLY allows customers moving forward having a Voucher code;
    Step 1/ Enter Voucher code
    Step 2/ If viable move forward taking reservations
    So having a landing page entering voucher code prior to moving to date/occupancy selection.
