  1. Customise timing of when email templates are sent. For example, allow a 'before start' to be sent 24hrs prior or 72 prior to arrival. Also, the option to create new templates from scratch to incorporate upsells and other emails for the customer journey.

    If 'Before start' is not enabled to send, allow a Check-in reminder to be sent separately. I understand now that this can only be achieved if Before Start is enabled.

  2. Automatic e-mails are currently sent to all guests with an e-mail adsress. However, even OTA-guests-addresses (generated by the OTA for the communication via an extranet) are count. This leads to situations when our coded template is being sent to e.g. a booking.com-customer and basically unreadable in the extranet messaging tool. we would suggest either switch on/off-function by source or different templates by source (e.g. simplified versions/text only) for OTA guests

  3. Natively shorten check-in urls sent out by mews to booking.com guest email addresses so booking.com doesnt insert linebreaks into the urls. Otherwise guest using booking.com app can not click on any url generated by mews - all urls are broken.

    Line breaks are inserted by booking.com after every 71st character in the url.

    We remove linebreaks manually and resend the urls to the guests.

  8. Some guests have read the before start, but decide to do the online check-in later. We are getting complaints that the reminder is experienced as "spam".
    It would be preferable to have the option to only send the before start e-mail, but disable the before start reminder.

  9. The Before Start email is sent to all the bookings, so it does not take in consideration which Confirmation Email's are Enabled in Visit Option.

    Please considere to send the Before Start email only the Confirmation Email that is ENABLED and ignore the ones disabled.
    This will help to send the information to the right customers instead of sending the invitation to all customers and create confusion.

  10. It would be good if the guest can get the exact information on their payment status in the confirmation email.

    It needs a code (Placeholder in template) so that the payment at the reservation will show as the rest of commands open to pay in the confirmation mail.

    Its critical data that the client needs specially for transparency

  11. The Confirmations Mails are very hard to read for customers. You cannot even see wether the costs are per night or per person or in total! That leads to misunderstandings.

  12. The standard mail templates provided by mews are great! However, one might want to make small adjustments.

    Currently, if you customize an email template the english 'Mews standard version' is shown. But for translations the fields are empty.
    Our only option is to have each mail template send to a test booking in every language and then deconstruct the html and translated texts in order to load them back in the system and change one or two words.

    Seems silly.

  15. Would be nice to be able to remind the guests to check-out online via mews mailing. This way, if the guest leaves, we can prompt them to click the link and settle their account instead of calling them to chase payment

  17. When setting up space categories, we have the field "Order email template".

    Unfortunately the text filled into this field is not sent in the default confirmation email.
    You have to set up a custom confirmation email.

    My request is: Please include the "Order email template" text in the default confirmation email.

  18. For travel purposes, especially because of a mandatory hotel quarantine, government agencies need to see the names of all the guests that will stay with us. The names should be added to the confirmation letter. You can create a new placeholder or add their names to the reservation details placeholder.
