Introduce a configuration whether to request Credit card details during online check-in
Guest are currently required to insert payment card during online check-in. This sometimes causes problems with double-charges in case the guest's reservation is prepaid by agency and staff latter on accidentally charges the guest card for stay. It also raises questions and mistrust of guests for online check-in and prevents them from finishing it.
Another case:
If "mandatory credit card" rules could be based on ratecode or rate category.
When we have a guest that is staying complimentary/using a gift voucher or company is paying, that guest is currently still required to enter their creditcard details as part of the…127 votes -
Disable Messaging
Please make the Messages/chatfunction optional or opt-out.
We don't want to use this tool to communicate since we now have to keep an eye on yet another system. Next to our socials, Whatsapp, mail, phone etc. etc.29 votesHello from the Mews product team. Show real/more reservation details in Navigator.
The information showed in navigator is not enough. Especially for guests with multiple reservations/cancellations. I am missing at least: Confirmation number, rate type, room type, price, extra products.

marketing opt-in at the online check-out
Proeprties are willing to have the Marketing subscription opt-in to be offered to the guests at the moment of the online check-out for the guests who did not subscribe to receive the marketing notifications at the check-in. Guest might change their mind during the stay

Show price of the stay in Guest portal
As a customer I would like to see the price of the stay in the details of the reservation, instead of having to go back to the email to look for it.

before we can enable showing the price in Navigator guest portal we need to automatically route the charges to the correct bill: https://feedback.mews.com/forums/918232/suggestions/36659050. That’s mainly because for some kind of reservations guests shouldn’t see the final price (OTA collects payment, the company pays for guest). Once the prerequisite is done, we can have a look to this one. :-)Have a great day,

It is strange that "Bookers" are not able to perform 'Confirm' or 'Cancel' actions on an Optional booking as a Booker has generally been tasked with the full flow of creating / updating reservations

Space number displayed in Guest portal
I’m traveling & staying only in Mews properties. My memory is not that great and would be amazing to see the hotel address and quick link to maps as well as after check-in show my space number. Would appreciate it as Mews hotels’ guest!

Some while ago we actually released the property address together with link to Google Maps to Navigator – guest can find it in Reservation details section.He can also download Apple Wallet to his iPhone/iWatch (iOS feature only) where he can find this info together with his reservation details. It’s very handy as it gets downloaded to his phone. If you want to provide such a feature to guests add Apple Wallet placeholder to your emails. As space number is not displayed in Navigator yet, let me edit the name of this idea.

Choose spaces in OCI
Online check-in is a great tool for properties and customers alike, which is continually expanding to include more interactive options for your guests. With one expansion, group reservations members could view all the spaces available for their booking and choose from that list to customize their experience.
