We would like to customize the occupancy in the booking engine, so that we have the posibility to manage the amount of available houses for sale.
For example, when there is one house left in each house type, it should not be possible to sell in the Booking engine to avoid overbooking, so it is only possible to book by contacting us directly.

Return limited guest profile data
It would be great if you can restrict the guest information that is returned for a certain AccessToken.
We have an inquiry that our customer wants to see limited guest profile data (only guest name and room number) in our software and not the whole guest information like addresses, communication information, etc...Therefore it would be helpful, when such a filter can be configured on Mews side.

Delete single guest profile - GDPR
We must be able to delete individual guest profiles in accordance with the GDPR guidelines.
Example: Guests request an offer, cancel it and then request deletion. We need to delete according to GDPR, so we cannot delete the file immediately, but have an obligation to retain it.
It would be nice if we could preset deletion in the file and then this happens automatically after the deadline has expired.22 votes -
Update to new guest profile on existing booking
If we hold a multiple reservations under one profile until we have everyone's name, we should be able to update the reservation profiles without changing all the profiles and without having to cancel and rebook the reservation. Same goes for a guest with a room checking in tomorrow and then in 2 months if that guest can't make the booking, but gifts the stay to his brother, we should be able to change the profile attached and not change the name on the two months from now reservation.

Space types to be displayed according to an specific priority
Spaces are shown in the BE based on the rate group and cancellation policy. For a hostel with dorms, rooms and beds, this make the dorms and rooms to be displayed firt (more expensive) rather than the beds (less expensive) and potential customers are easily discouraged when they only look at the first elements shown. It would be helpful to choose wich space type show first regardless of the pricing configuration.

Placeolder for deposit amount in the "Automatic settlement failed" email
When we make a manual booking for a rate that requires a downpayment the "Automatic settlement failed" email is sent out if there is no credit card attached.
This, in itself, is a good thing. However it is often unclear for the guests how much they have to pay. They's have to find back the original booking confirmation (might have been months ago) and look through the rate description to figure out how much they have to pay.
A simple placeholder for the amount that the automatic settlement rule was supposed to have taken would be great for these cases.

Warning on cashlisted profiles in billing
Guests that are marked with cashlist also need the same warning in billing, as the blocklisted guests get.

BE allows creating optional reservations
Allow guests to create optional reservations in the Mews Booking Engine instead of directly confirming. This should trigger the quotation email allowing the guest to review the details of their stay, pay a deposit and confirm the reservation (applicable to long stay guests)

Preferred space features in timeline
We would like to see a guests preferred space features in the timeline. Possible to add those to the information that appears when you hover over a reservation in the timeline? And maybe also include a symbol that appears when a guests has preferred space features?

Mobile Phone Field on Reservation
Our little Hotel has doors with PIN Code to allow 24h Checkin.
We need a mandatory "Mobile Phone" field on the reservation form as a data input for the guest profile in order to later send out the Chekin PIN Codes to the guests arriving via SMS.We do this since 15 years now with an old booking engine. We decided to change to a new 360 PMS system and found Mews. But now in the onboarding process we had to discover that Mews has no such field. Create and alert when guest has a different gender from the room type.
Set up an alert in Mews to notify when a guest's gender does not match the room's designated gender. For example, if a guest's profile is marked as Male but the room is designated for a Female, Mew will display an alert: "The guest's gender does not match the room type. Would you like to proceed with the check-in?"

Adjustable mailing templates
Right now there are no adjustable mailing templates in mews only adjustable mailing "contents" which is incredibly weak and a bad hit for corporate design and even the customer journey (reduced trust because its in a completely different design than anything else). For a pms that is centered around the customer this should really be different!
I think it would be useful to add an global option for template and probably even for each individual mailing. So you could adjust this for single mailings if you want (which is asked for in different ideas).

directed to guest dashboard
The current UX/UI design and flow is not logical, at least to me. When entering a guest name into the search bar or clicking a guest name - you are taken to the profile tab instead of directly to the guest dashboard (where you can access every tab, closed bills, rebates, refunds, past stays, and future stays).
Currently, you are creating more steps than it should be - by having the page that you're being directed to - be the users profile instead of the dashboard.
If you program the backend to direct the user to the guest dashboard instead…

i like to have the same name screen for employees in the kiosk check in screen also for thre check out. in the check out screen you hav to type in the guest name even in the employee modus

Add Week Numbers To The Timeline
Can you add the week numbers to the timeline as many guests ask about availability of a certain week number before booking a date. This would improve the speed of me answering their questions and a better overview.

Net Properties would like to see the breakdown of total cost in Confirmation and Quotation Emails between Net + Tax, and then Gross Value.
