  2. We really appreciate if there will be possibility to specify age categories to two decimal places (e.g. babies 0-2.99, childrens 3-11.99). These logic is used by lots of OTA´s and we would like to set up our WBE by the same principal to be able to offer the same prices to our guest.

  3. Bulk select multiple reservations in a group and move them altogether in one movement from one series of spaces to another. At this stage, we have to individually select each reservation to change the space, which can take time for large groups.

  4. It would be great if we could label the bookings individually and make sure that this is everywhere visible.
    Example: Speakers from the seminar
    We make do with the top management classification in the guest profile, but even this is not obvious everywhere.
    I expect to see this information in the booking overview of a group, for example, without having to expand the reservation. And it must be visible in the timeline.
    In addition, this is a classification that does not belong to the guest profile, but to the individual room reservation. After all, the speaker could arrive later as…

  6. Currently, the system allows a "Confirmed" block to be released unless the "Do not release" toggle is manually selected. This redundancy creates a high risk of manual error, which has recently resulted in an accidental overbooking.

    Suppose when we click "Confirmed", it's confirmed and the block should automatically change to "Do not release". Otherwise, it makes the process more complicated and increases the chance of errors.

  7. Dear MEWS Team,

    I would like to share a suggestion regarding the Timeline view, which has a huge yet unexpressed potential.

    While visually clean, it does not leverage one of the most powerful tools for operational efficiency: colour-coding.

    Color can instantly convey information that, otherwise, requires opening each booking or navigating multiple sections. Introducing colour indicators directly on the Timeline could transform it into a true operational dashboard, providing immediate, high-impact insights for the front office and reservations teams.

    Here are some examples of what colour-coding could highlight:
    • Payment Status (e.g., prepaid, pending, partially paid, failed)

  8. Currently, the cancellation tag in the MEWS booking engine is not flexible enough.

    The logic is fixed on the system side:

    Cancellation on the day of arrival = automatically 2:00 p.m. or defined check-in time.

    Cancellation X days before arrival = automatically 12:00 a.m.

    Individual cancellation times cannot be displayed. Rates such as “cancellable until 6:00 p.m. on the day of arrival” or “14 days before arrival until 2:00 p.m.” cannot be displayed correctly.

    A manual adjustment of the time per rate in the cancellation tag would be necessary in order to display the cancellation conditions correctly and transparently.

  9. Bitte fügt als zusätzlichen Stornierungsgrund "Krankheit" hinzu. Dies ist der meist genannte Grund für eine Stornierung. Wenn ich "Sonstiges" auswähle und dann als Detail "Krankheit" eingebe, wird auf der Rechnung mit den Stornogebühren als Grund "Sonstiges" angezeigt. Wenn der Gast diese Rechnung seiner Versicherung einreicht für die Rückerstattung, ist diese Formulierung sehr unglücklich, dort müsste zwingend "Krankheit" stehen. Covid-19 als Grund könnt ihr gerne entfernen, diesen Grund brauchen wir zum Glück schon länger nicht mehr.

  10. Have the possibility to create a copy of an existing block reservation and just change the dates, booker, room types, price, room amount if needed. If the same company has a series of blocks we can just make a copy of the first block and change the details

  12. I would like OTA-delivered Special Requests (stored in the reservation Properties tab) to be visible in reservation reports and in the Arrivals preview, so staff don’t miss guest-specific details. This is counter intuitive to the highly personalized service we strive for.

  13. We're new to MEWS and whilst the functionality is brilliant (thank you), our front of house team really struggle with the visual appearance of the timeline. Spending lots of screen time on a screen with poor visual appearance and contrasts is not healthy and inefficient as it is difficult to see the timeline at a glance - please could you look at improving visual contrasts both colours and lines between dates/spaces for improved accessibility.

  14. Option A: Add a “Snapshot” Button

    Introduce a Print button in the Reservation Overview >> Print output mirrors the page as is.

    Similar to existing print‑enabled reports (e.g., Space Status)

    Option B: Export as PDF

    Add Export → PDF (Layout View) alongside Excel
    Preserves:

    Page UI formatting
    Column order
    Grouping
    Visual hierarchy
    Header Titles (Stayovers, Arrivals, etc...)

    📌 Either option alone would significantly improve usability; offering both is ideal but not required for initial delivery.

    Acceptance Criteria

    ✅ Layout in print/PDF matches the on‑screen Reservation Overview as a Snapshot
    ✅ Respects filters, dates, and sorting applied by the user.

  15. Es ist unglaublich nervig, dass ich, wenn ich eine neue Reservierung manuell anlege, nicht sofort alle Daten wie z.B. die Adresse des Gastes oder die zugewiesene Firma eingeben kann. Warum kann man das Fenster dafür nicht erweitern?

    It's incredibly annoying that when I create a new reservation manually, I can't immediately enter all the details, such as the guest's address or the assigned company. Why can't the window be expanded for this?

  16. Make company owned reservations possible.
    It will allow to manage corporate clients more effectively by associating company profiles with reservations.
    Provide a comprehensive view of all bookings associated with a corporate account. As well highly useful for hotels that offer coworking spaces, where companies own a office space.

  17. Nous aimerions, lors de l'utilisation d'un bloc de disponibilité pouvoir supprimer dans le moteur de réservation spécifique à celui-ci l'accès au produit du service réservable.

    Exemple : laisser le choix aux clients classique via la moteur de réservation d'ajouter le ménage de fin de séjour.
    Mais ne pas faire apparaitre cette option sur le moteur de réservation spécifique à un bloc de disponibilité.

  18. We often have large groups of guests with on all rooms the same items booked. If we make a mistake, or something changes in the booking, we have to go room by room to cancel the wrong item. It would be great that if you select rooms with the same items on them, ( because you add the items to all the roms at the same time) you can also remove them all together.
