  1. Description:
    A classification icon that is automatically added to the guest profile, when adding the guest's information - visible next to the guest's name in the dashboards, guest profile, timeline ect.

    Similar to the "female" icon or other classification icons like "returning", "staff" or "blocklist".

    This would help streamlining our operation, especially when dealing with groups like school/student groups as well as help identifying underage guests that booked individually (which is only possible under certain conditions to be in line with the law and requires different/additional steps upon check-in).

  2. Currently, you can filter out the report by specific Service or Accounting Categories for the revenue portion.

    However, we cannot filter out Payments "associated" and recorded for that specific revenue. Especially if we are looking at specific POS Room Charge Revenue that is posted on the rooms.

    It would be useful to be able to do so for further analysis.

  3. The "customer insights" data Mews gathers at the customer profile level should be reported in one place so clients can make use of the stats to create promotions or programs to incentivize their guests.

    Stay Frequency Analysis: Number of stays per customer within a selected period.
    Revenue Contribution: Total spend per customer (room + POS).
    Visit Patterns: Average length of stay, seasonal trends.
    Engagement Metrics: Use of amenities, special requests, or participation in promotions.

  4. It would be far easier for management to see how many guests are present on any one night but having a simple sum total formula added at the base to see total occupants. It takes forever to click on every room, look to the right, log th number, then onto the next room and manually add up the occupants for all the rooms. Next to the customers name on the timeline it could also hold the number of occupants for that room/property so it can bee see at a glance instead of actually clicking on each room.

  7. In my previous booking engine, the timeline/grid was a dynamic live thing. You can see real time when potential guests were looking at dates or making a booking. It was a real time indicator of how good a marketing campaign was working. The previous pms also tracked daily visitors to the booking engine real time and updated the daily visitor numbers. This insight was invaluable.

  8. For all customer-centric reports: It would be practical to offer such insight in printouts (and screens) >>> especially in emergencies when reports are being used exclusively. The Icons are a great snippet of the customer's history with the hotel.

  9. We would like to request Origin logging for all reservations.

    When reservations are created through a channel manager or via integrations, Mews logs the Origin and Origin ID. However for manually created reservations, Mews does not automatically log the reservation Origin such as Call Center, Email or Phone. As a result, integration partners (such as Lighthouse) receive Mews data files with various blank Origin fields leading to incomplete reporting.

  10. I want a report that I can export to excel that includes the original booking dates to the reservation. The reservation report shows only the check in and check out dates. Usually they are the same as the original dates but not always.

  12. Can we consider adding filters and Columns for the following

    External Identifier (as seen in the Payment Report)

    Settlement Identifier (as seen in Payout/Payment Report)

    Bill Number for all rows> _now, bill numbers are only associated with a closed bill or issued invoice bill. Perhaps, it would be useful to have a piece of data that could be picked up by an Accounting Software at least.

    Owner > mostly, for items in the unpaid section as this is not considered a bill at this time. Therefore, it is worth considering adding item-level data as rows by including unpaid items/deposits as…

  13. Revenue Managers are looking for an easier and better tool to track Conversion Rate of Inquired Reservations to Confirmed Reservations more efficiently.

    Especially for the hotels utilizing that feature a lot, there are a lot of unexplored avenue when it comes to managing, tracking, and analyzing Inquired Reservations. I

    t would also help to keep the "Inquired" label somehow for better reporting.

Para evaluar el éxito de las campañas publicitarías y de la propia satisfacción de nuestros clientes sería bueno contar con un campo desplegable en la ficha del cliente dónde , al igual que en el campo segmento, podamos recoger los medios por los cuales los clientes nos han conocido y por lo tanto los que nos interesa monitorizar.   15. It would be really useful if you could create custom rules that automatically apply guest classifications. E.g. once a guest completes 3 stays, they are marked as Important, then once they have completed 5 stays, they are marked as VIP.

    Similarly, it would be great if there was also an option to retroactively these rules, e.g. Mews could identify all guests that have 3 completed stays and classifies them as Important, or if they have 5 or more it classifies them as VIP instead of important.

  16. This should be a cancellation report that includes the cancelled revenue plus the cancelled room nights of an availability block. To top this it would be great to see the cancellation reason and who cancelled it plus the option to export to excel.

  17. When I import into Mews Analytics the information from up to two years ago from the previous PMS, the template provided by Mews does not allow me to differentiate by type of room or flat. Therefore, it will never provide me with the ADR, occupancy or total revenue data by type of room/apartment. It would be very convenient to modify this in order to have a fully detailed history.

The "city" focused filter will allow Sales and Revenue Departments to have the option to pull for more specific/localized stats of their visitors as opposed to a whole region/territory/filter which could affect product creation sales and marketing campaign (Without needing to export to Excel + filter the customer profiles report)

  20. We've explored various reports in Mews with different settings to see if it's possible to extract the tax code in addition to the tax rate. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a way to do this.

    Having access to tax codes in reports is essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance, especially when tax codes change within Mews. It allows us to track which revenue has been taxed with which tax code, providing better control and transparency for accounting and auditing purposes.
