  1. The German Translation of the "Availability & occupancy report" should be improved: The term "Stayovers" is currently translated to "Bleibende Gäste", which translates back to English as "staying customers" which is incorrect, because the row labeled includes only the room count, not the guest count.
    So correctly this row should be labeled as "Bleiber" or "Bleibende (Räume)" .

    I have checked with our translation and localization team about this request, and they've confirmed that the relevant translation was improved in May 2024. Since the text isn't specific to [number of] rooms or guests and could refer to either or both, they've chosen to use "Bleibende Reservierungen" here.

  2. It would be useful to be able to name a scheduled report. E.g. you may have multiple reports on the 1st of the month and it would be great if you could name the exports, such as "KPI report", "Operations report", etc, so they're easy to distinguish and identify.

    You can do this by selecting an export schedule and updating the name under the Export schedule section. For more information please visit this guide.

  3. We look for a report which lists reservations, that were checked-out with unbalanced bills.
    Few days ago, we checked-out a group, but forgot to issue the invoice the very same day and only realized this now. To make sure this has not happened before, we want to search for reservations, that are in the past but not paid or invoiced yet.

    Hi, thank you for your vote for this suggestion. In fact, this is already possible to see within Mews.


    Please navigate to the "Guests in house" report, which is available on the homepage dashboard, in the upper right corner under "Customers".


    Ensure that under Status, "Checked out" is selected, and that under Display options, "Balance" is selected. By selected your date range you should be able to view reservations which have been checked out but still have open balances remaining.

  4. would be nice if you could set the interval in the report export scheduled into "next morning", so you do not also see the reservations for the next evening.

  5. With the new availability report I am missing the calendar dates.
    What is important to check the availability for example with close-out dates.

    Is it possible to add the calendar to the new availability report ?

    This would really help. Now I am still working with the old report.

  6. It would be ideal to see the number of room nights per booking that have been cancelled when running a Reservation Report with "Status is Cancelled". At the moment the report generates with the number of nights all reported as ‘0’.

    In order to view the number of cancelled room nights in the reservation report, please ensure that your filters are set to the following 


    • Filter: Canceled
    • Status: Canceled


    The Status filter does not have the cancelled state loaded automatically, it must be manually selected in order to see the number of cancelled nights.

  7. Would like the ability to save favorite reports in Mews rather than have to reset the filters each time. We can save this for export, but if I only wish to view the report, I must reset the filters each time and remember the previous setting used. This is cumbersome and prone to mistakes.

    If there was a favorite report section under the burger menu, it would be easy to access specific areas in Mews to display reports that are frequently used. These can be exported or printed, but in most cases, just need to be able to save the…

    Thank you for the feedback.

    It is currently possible to view your favorite reports with the filters preselected by using custom links. You can set this up by:

    1. Opening a report in Mews > select the filters you require.
    2. Click “View” to apply the filters.
    3. Copy the URL and paste it in as a custom link.
    4. Save your custom link and refresh the page
    5. You will now be able to access the report with pre-selected filters by opening the burger menu > select custom links > select the custom link you have created

    It is also possible to access the custom links using a keyboard shortcut. You can learn more about both in the guide linked below:

  8. Report that separates OTA's by 'Multiple Selected Travel Agencies'

    Meaning, we can pull a report for all revenue from all booking and also a report for just OTA'S (Not Brand Website), with a percentage against all bookings

    Hello Jodie,

    Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. You are currently able to group by “Reservation source” in the reservations report in order to see a list of all reservations separated by OTA. If you view the report in “Totals” mode, you will be able to view the percentage of reservations from each OTA.

    In order to view the report separated by travel agencies, you can select the filter group by “Travel agency”. If the report is “Totals” mode you will be able to see a breakdown of revenue from each agency as well as a breakdown of a percentage against the bookings.

  9. It would be very useful to have an occupancy report/overview of all the groups per stay day / per status. Then a second layer on picked up vs non picked up rooms per group. To determine wash and create accurate forecasting.

  11. Es wäre sehr hilfreich wenn im Reservierungsüberblick das Abreisedatum sichtbar wäre.

  13. It would be very useful to have a report that helps us find guest profile by their classification (VIP, previous complaint, etc.).
    That permits to have an over view of all the guests who have a classification and put some special offer on for them

    You are able to view all profiles that are registered in Mews and have classifications attached from the reservations report. The filter in the report that will help you view this is called “Customer classification”, it sits under the “Group by” section, of the reservations report.

    We would like to inform you, that your request has been fulfilled.

    Breakfast products manually added to the bill from the “Items” tab can now be viewed from product report. This includes products charged once as well as per person per night.

  15. At the moment in Mews Excel reports the dates contain a character in front of them therefore they can not be used in combination with any extended and formulated self made excel reports. For instance HLOOKUP will not find the date on Mews reports due to above. This is important for proper ARR data on daily basis between segments as at the moment the only way to do this is to average the rates however this dilutes them. All Mews has to do is remove any characters from the dates on the reports.

    Thanks to your feedback, we decided to release two most wanted intervals! Now you can view following data on your reports:

    · Ongoing 6 months: First day of the current month at 00:00 – 6 months later at 00:00
    · Ongoing year: First day of the current month at 00:00 – 12 months later at 00:00

    The further development of the idea for the upcoming period is not planned for now. However, If we have any new updated on it, we will certainly let you know.
