  1. Split reservations - optional and confirmed

    at the moment, only in house reservations can be splitted. When a guest already books a room change, we have either to make two different reservations or block the spaces until the guest is checked in.

  5. When choosing Charging "Once" and then Consumed at either "Reservation end" or "Reservation start" on a stay produkt, you shouldn't be required to enter date and time when adding the item to a reservation.
    I.e. "Late check out" would be set as "Once", and when adding it to a reservation you choose Count (no. of hours) and it would automatically be posted on the check out date.

  6. Hello! to be able to change the number of pax per date like the rate! avoiding insering different reservations. sometimes the same room can be in double fo 2 nights and than in single ....

  7. Have you been scared you did a manipulation on production instead of demo? Especially when you started with Mews and everything you looked at was new to your eye? It happened to me a lot, and I thought the blue demo logo maybe isnt big enough... actually if the entire top banner was blue it would be so much easier to identify and remove all doubts about which environment we're working on (for us and for hotels too)!

  10. We highly request a function that allows us to have an inventory of all our extra beds in Mews, and that automatically keeps track of when/how many xbeds that are sold. To make sure that we don´t oversell them.
    As it is today, we need to manually keep track of incoming reservations that needs xbeds, and put this in an excel document - this needs to be done several tims a week and it takes a lot of time and effort, when it should be a simple solution in the system.

  11. Currently Mews does not show rate group description and rate description when multiple rates are available within one rate group. This is not ideal for any hotel that may have multiple properties to manage as well as multiple reservationists. Its unreasonable to expect for reservationists and multiple property management to remember or recall information that is vital to relay to the guest at time of booking. Most hotels have multiple rates so this is a feature that is 100% missing and required for Mews tobe competitive in the PMS market for groups and PMS for hotels.

  12. Hi all,

    the action log sould be more easier to understand.

    The commands / logs that are recorded are not clear enough.
    If a guest checks out at the Mews Kiosk then in the action log it is:

    State changed from Started to processed ....

    That doesnt make any sense and staff do not know what action was beeing done. Better is to state: checked in or checked out...

  14. As a property that hosts guests for long stays, it is important to know what guest is associated with what product.

    When a product is charged (1x) and consumed by one person and two people are on a reservation, there is no way to determine what guest is associated with what product. This gets more complicated the more products purchased that are for single consumption.

  15. Mews Japanese B2C language (Guest-facing products) completeness stands at 99%. However, there are some nuance issues with translations.

  17. Hello,

    Just want to give feedback and maybe you do have this issue under your To Do list.

    Guest's check in and check out in mews.
    Then guests do have reservations for next night and next next day, for different rate etc.

    Reception is not able to make key in the same room for two different reservations, in this case we do it manually. Sometimes, payment is paid, key cards are made, the CHECK IN button is forgotten.

    Same situation, if a guest checks out and pays his bill, then some sale spich and reception forgot to press the CHECK…

  18. Make the "send marketing postal mail" option available alongside "send marketing emails" in the mews import file.

    Many hotels – including ours – are treating e-mail opt-in differently from postal opt-in and would like to import their customer information accordingly.

  19. When using the search bar for reservation 123 Mews often displays too many results as it includes anything with 1 , 2 , or 3. Recently had to search for confirmation 61 and the list of matching results was too long. Should be able to filter exact search therefore returns one match as the reservation is a unique number.
