  1. We zouden het fijn vinden als er op de tijdlijn meer met fellere kleuren gewerkt zou worden. Aankomst, ingecheckt, uitgecheckt/ toekomstige boeking.. Dit maakt het onderscheid makkelijker.

  4. Currently the only area to add a booking reference (OTA or other) is in the notes field. This should be a field within the reservation screen that can then be used to locate a reservation.
    This is especially important where multiple reservations are received on the one booking file but are for a different party within that reservation..maybe with same surname but different dates of stay.
    It is also helpful if reconciling commission statements etc

    Dear all, this idea is released! In Merchant Balances report you can find nice widget breakdown of your getaway payment card usage. Hope to hear from you all very soon in some new exciting ideas.

  6. A guest stays in the hotel for a longer period of time. Now he has to move to another room. It would be nice if there is a possibility to move this room. For example with drag and drop. As an alternative, the booking should be marked with a symbol so that you can recognize the guest is staying longer in the house!

    Hi Emmeran,

    It is currently possible to split a reservation during a guests stay.

    You can perform this action by opening a reservation → selecting the “properties” tab. In the section “Split reservation”, select the date and time that the guest will begin their stay in the new room.

    Once you’ve select “Ok”, you will be able to view two reservations for the guest. The current reservation will be labelled “Checked in”, and the reservation for a future date will be labelled “Future”.

    From here you can move the either reservation to a desired space.

  8. Since you can't undo cancellations there is no point in having them displayed together with future or current reservations. They could be displayed somewhere else. When you select all reservations the cancellations are also selected, at the same time your editing options on the left side of the display decrease because it now also refers to the cancelled bookings which you can't edit...Why? Either remove cancelled bookings at least from that display fully or let the select all button select everything but the cancelled bookings.

    Hello from the Mews product team.

    We are very happy to inform you that we currently support the ability to print registration cards in multiple languages, including French.

    Each registration card is printed based on the guests nationality as set up in Mews. For example if the guests Nationality is French, registration cards printed for that guests will be in French. The same process can be applied for gusts of multiple nationalities.

  12. Mews should not impose anything on our official document. Moreover, if Mews wants to make a change on the official documents, they should warn us before.
    Hence we notice that our invoices and pro-format are now labelled "Factuur" (dutch word for invoice). But we do not use dutch in our system.
    Forcing us to use dutch language on our english or french invoices is just
    not right.

  17. To properly analyze all data coming in through Commander, properties may want to look specifically at canceled reservations. Within our reservation report, an additional filter for cancellation reason could provide some important insight into that information so that properties can easily view and analyze those details.

    We are very happy to announce, that you are now able to filter by cancellation reason in your reservation report!

    How does it work?

    Simply head over to your reservations report, select the filter “Canceled” > Under Status select “canceled” > Group by “Cancellation reason”.

    You will now be able to see the reason reservations have been cancelled!
