  1. Being able to change the arrival time and departure time on bookings that are staying on different dates without having to change the actual date.
    With other words, arrival and departure times are independent from the dates.

  2. Now it is only possible to add a confirmation number in a reservation of there is an Travel Agency assigned. This option should always be available as many companies have there own confirmation number and cost centers they would like for us to add to a reservation, for it to be reflected on their bills/invoices.

    These can change from booking to booking and therefore not possible to put this in the company profile.

    Now there is a workaround by assigning a random OTA, then the bar appears you can fill in what you need and then delete the OTA. The…

  3. We currently find the process in Mews Operations of assigning cleaners to rooms very clunky... and possibly the worst feature of Mews. Here are some suggestions for improving this process:

    1. Show employee name or incorporate a drop down menu for assignee selection. Currently you have to type in a few letters of the employee's name and then it shows only an email address, so you can't be sure it's the right employee unless you are a genius and know everyone's email address. Surely this is a simple one to solve?

  4. As our property mostly sell packaged products we are missing the possibility to package a product with multiple items which then ..
    - could be sold as an enhancement to stay
    - be billed directly by frontoffice without having team remember all components

    In addition it would be desireble to set a product for sale specific period or days only.

    Example: Would love to sell a Christmas Lunch composed by Food & beverage items for stay 25 December without having to create a separate Stay package.

  5. I wish to be able to have a locked view setting / ghost view when assigning in the morning. This to to let employees see too soon what floors/section they are on.

    Reasons: It could cause unneccisarry stress, we might need to change and they like to plan before work. As employees can use the app in their private phones, they are able to start processing when they shouldn't. And its a help for them to not work, before work. Even thouh we start assigning 1-2h before actual start for all employees.

  7. Hi all,

    the action log sould be more easier to understand.

    The commands / logs that are recorded are not clear enough.
    If a guest checks out at the Mews Kiosk then in the action log it is:

    State changed from Started to processed ....

    That doesnt make any sense and staff do not know what action was beeing done. Better is to state: checked in or checked out...

  8. Today we only have 2 searchable options for companies. It is the name and the External Identifier.

    It would be great if we have more fields to search for in the searchbar i.e. phone number / e-mail address / fiscal information.

    When the company profile is getting more and more attention with company billing and such it would be easy to implement a couple of more fields so it will be easier to get to the profiles.

  9. We really enjoy the ability to cancel products from billing and cancel orders from the guest dashboard, but there currently doesn't exist a way to audit cancelled products/items by cancellation date. We are able to filter by creation date of the product, but that makes it hard to track items created several months ago that may have been cancelled in the last week, for example.

  15. Restrict some users from being able to delete products within the reservation or billing. Either an approval code from a manager could be entered to allow them to delete it, or the manager themselves who has the permission deletes the product themselves

  16. It would be nice to be able to put a limit on how far back users can make reports. For example; with the current payment report a low level user can see all payments and revenue years back. This doesn't make sense to me at all.

  17. To be able to create products and split the product into different acocunting categories. Ex. gin&tonic - a part revenue goes to water and a part to liquor. Ex. breakfast - a part revenue goes to food and a part to coffee.

  19. Why do you have a housekeeping app where you still need to pull a manual report for all the details? Can we have the fields in the housekeeping report added to the app so you can see how the rooms need to be set up for the next guest in terms of guest notes and the number of occupancies from a family of 4 to 2 people in the room, then help assist if the sofa bed would need to be put away.

  20. Require solution for Reservation Report based on accurate and exact interval of staying/overnight during the selected period only, for example from 01-01-2024 to 31-01-2024 without including the overnight stay on previous month even the whole booking may overlap.
