Task Start Date
Hi Product Team,
I would like to suggest that it can be possible to have a start date for Tasks made. We've noticed that whenever we make a task, especially for our Housekeeping Department, they get notified right away even though the task is to be done in a week - for example setting in extra beds og additional cleaning. This has made a lot of confusion and extra work in our hotel, as they finish it on the day the task is made, and not when the deadline is.
Would it therefore be possible to have a start date…

Stayovers
Reservations checked in after midnight don’t show as stayovers in the morning. This creates confusion for the housekeeping team as the rooms don’t come up in their Space Sratus report.
Our Housekeeping team assign dirty rooms to Room Attendants from Mews Space Status report.
They view three reports:
Departed or departing
Stayovers
Arrived or arrivingReservations checked in after midnight come under arrived however the guest booked and stayed last night and should receive stay over service.

Add voice massages in the internal Chat
Option to add voice massages into the internal chat.
People who speak multiple languages cannot write all words. This way you can simply send a short message with less hassle

Room allocation
The automatic allocation should take the room status into consideration. Ex. we would like that it prioritize to allocate inspected rooms over dirty rooms.

Add Calendar events to Housekeeping App
It would be great to have events shown on timeline to also reflect in the housekeeping app so that housekeeping staff are aware of events so they can set rooms up accordingly.

Drag and Drop Room Assignment by Housekeeper similar to Timeline
To improve the speed of room assignment by housekeeper, it would be good to have the ability to drag and drop specific rooms under each housekeeper on a daily basis similar to what we do with Timeline. You could quickly see which rooms are unassigned and drag the room under each housekeeper to complete their board for the day. If room credits are used, each room that is dragged under a housekeeper deducts from the total credits assigned for the day.

Ability to put rooms out of order from Mews Housekeeping App
Currently, you are not able to put the Space out of order form the Mews Housekeeping App. You are able to change the status from Dirty to Clean to Inspected to Out of Service but not Out of Order. We would like the ability to put rooms Out of Order with a reason from the Housekeeping App.

Simplify the Housekeeping Room Assignment Process
It would be helpful to assign Housekeeping from a single space status screen versus room assignment screen. The drop down could show all available housekeeping and you could assign one or two directly onto this screen. Today, you have to use the assignment tool with has filters and is a bit awkward as you need to filter than assign a housekeeper then rooms. When you select and second housekeeper the same rooms show up as the first and you have to remember you have assigned them. Also, for some hotels, stayovers are assigned 20 minutes and full cleans are assigned…

Inform users that there is an employee assigned to a floor.
When you unassign an employee from a space assigning a new one overrides the previous employee. Please add signal before you assign an employee to a room/floor which is already assigned to someone else.

Create task from space status report
It would be great if tasks and rooms could be assigned to housekeepers with one action. Instead of switching between "Space Status" page and "Tasks" page.

Departing tag
Keep the old system in the app where tags like "departing" is always showing on the rooms. This way you don't have to use the filter.

Status change to clean at checkin
Operations are complaining about the lack of housekeeping statuses, especially check in status. Optimal functionality would be "occupied" but maybe it could be solved by using clean status at check in?
The reason for this is that by keeping the space inspected, front office forget to check in reservations (ghost rooms) and they lose control over how many inspected spaces are available to sell to walk ins. For housekeeping it is the other way around - when check in makes room dirty they re-visit already cleaned rooms, disturbs guest etc.

Adjust legionella status with occupancy
The current functionality of the dirty (legionella) status is linked to the status of a room: if it's in clean or inspected for 7 days it switches to status dirty ( legionella). If the setting of rooms is: change status to dirty on check-out, then it is possible that if a check-in ( but not check-out) occurs somewhere within the 7 day window, the status of the room during the occupancy changes to dirty( legionella). This is incorrect. As the room is occupied the room should not go to legionella status, as it is used.

reservation report including internal use
When creating the reservation report each day, there are always the "internal use" rooms to be put on by hand - and therefore, of course could be forgotten....
It would be helpful, if these rooms also would be on this report automatically - like they also show up on the list "guests in house" by downloading to excel.
...and why they are not shown on the dashboard as arrivals or departures?

Tracking room sizes for Housekeeping
Within some states in the US, there is a maximum number of square feet (or metre) that an individual can clean during their shift. To help ensure that this limit is not being exceeded, it would help to have the measurements of the room listed within the Housekeeping part of Mews.

Block space automatically
We have rooms that need more time to be cleaned, which is why we have to block them for the night after the guests check out. It would be great if the system could do that automatically as soon as those rooms have been booked. As for now, we need to block the rooms manually everytime it is booked...

Rooms with checkout on same day must be near to each other (good for effektive Housekeeping)
Rooms with checkout on same day must be near to each other, this would be good for an effektive Housekeeping. Can be optimized by booking.

Cashier
Block desk agents from accessing the cashier report in order to allow for blind drops for cash handling. Have system close and reset cashiers when it switches over to the new day.
