  2. Competitor rates are very important as revenue managers consider how to set pricing for upcoming months. Improvement of scraped data could help with management processes as competitor pricing could be visible directly from the Rate Management Screen in Mews.

"If a reservation needs to be canceled, this can easily be done within the reservation module, however, it is not clear which cancellation policy may apply to the reservation at the time of cancellation. For this reason, displaying cancellation policies within the reservation module could help create clarity as it will be clearly visible before and during reservation management."

  7. As group reservations often appear together on the Timeline, there is not currently an efficient solution to relocate all of them once. An additional Timeline feature could enable moving all group reservations to another block simultaneously.

  8. When orders are placed in Mews, there are often notifications sent for confirmation. However, when orders are canceled, it is more difficult to keep track of this lost revenue. Therefore, when orders are canceled, introduction of a notification e-mail could help properties stay more informed as detail of each cancellation would be available for future statistics and analysis.

  9. Group bookings can complicate payments, especially if all bookings are being paid for by a single party. Adding the capability to pay deposits for the group as a whole could provide a solution, as this could simplify the payment process for many business travelers or any other group travelers.

  11. "As service orders are created, sometimes there are multiple items included in one ticket. Currently, there is no indication of total cost for multiple-item orders, however adding this piece of information could help keep users informed before anything is finalized."

  14. The Mews Reservation report is one of the most flexible reports in the system, considering the number of items available for data comparison. While the report is in 'Totals' mode, the addition of a column for 'average length of stay' could provide another very useful criteria for future evaluation and planning.

  15. "For properties who would like to gather and view more statistics about length of stay, our reservation report would be a great tool for comparing these details. With an additional filter for 'Minimum number of nights', data analysis can become much easier as you can select exactly which items you would like to view."

Rather than manual assignment, however, properties may want to automate these feature requests. A new feature would enable the system to automatically allocate space assignment based on customer requests."
