Whenever you create a block, Mews makes a "virtual rate code"
Whenever you create a block, Mews makes a "virtual rate code" for the group block. This becomes a nightmare when collecting rate code data from Mews API. Especially when ONLY American English is auto-generated for short name. Default language is based on user, not property so if one user has something else than American English, then the rate code name in database becomes blank. it should auto generate in american english short name no matter what language user uses.

Kontingentbegrenzung einer Rate
Ich hätte gerne die Möglichkeit, einer Rate nur ein gewisses Kontingent zuzuordnen.
Ich habe eine Frühbucher-Rate, möchte diese aber nur für eine begrenzte Anzahl an Zimmern buchbar machen.
Wir arbeiten mit DIRS als Channelmanager, da konnte ich das als Regel einstellen (schließe diese Rate, wenn weniger als x Zimmer verfügbar sind).
Sinnvoll wäre es, dies unter den Restriktionen einzutragen.
Würde mich sehr freuen, wenn dies realisiert würde.

Charging rules for products
It would be helpful to have more charging rules or patterns for products.
Especially for long term bookings (still with a nightly rate) it can be necessary to add a product on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly pattern.

Improvement on Product Rules Conditions
Add More conditions to the Product Rules: so users can have even more specific applications. Some of them are:
Such as the "Creation Date" of reservations. Especially if a new tax/service fee is to be in effect only after/before a certain date.
Age Categories
Space Features
Valid Period of promotion (Voucher)

Rate Code management
We should be able to filter rate codes as expired to not take up space in the rate code screen, but activate them again if needed. This way the system can stay clean and tidy. Especially since you don't have a search feature.

Add extra functions to the Product Checklist
Product Checklist could have a wider set of functions such as ability to post directly to Profiles without a current reservation. And ability to post to Spacetime Reservations (not only Guest)

Produkte zeitlich & in der Anzahl begrenzen
Bei vielen Artikeln ändern sich jedes Jahr der Preis. Es wird im System sehr unübersichtlich, wenn wir für jeden Jahr ein neues Produkt erstellen müssen, diese aber immer wählbar sind.
Es müsste also möglich sein, dem Produkt einen Gültigkeitszeitraum zuzuweisen z.B. 01.01.-31.12.2025.
Zusätzlich wäre es hilfreich, wenn in einer Buchung die Anzahl angegeben werden kann, wie oft das Produkt hinzugefügt werden soll. z.B. ein Produkt Halbpension welches pro Person pro Nacht gebucht wird bei einem Aufenthalt von 4 Nächten nur 2x gebucht werden soll.3 votes -
O/S (out of sale) space status
Having an ‘Out of Sales’ status which blocks the sale over a date period but does not remove it from the inventory.
It is possible to use House Use but this is not taken into account by RMS DUETTO.

Can we please create a feature to block room charges for so no one can add any unnecessary charges to rooms
Right now, we are only commenting on bookings that should be on a no post basis, but of course there is human error at one point or another and it is sometimes easy to miss the comment especially when there are multiple information on the booking, and we end up not getting paid for these services sometimes

More Intuitive Interaction/Navigation for Restrictions Page
(1) When filtering out the Start and End date fields to search "applicable" or "created" interval, it should intuitively grey out dates past the start date and then prompt the user with future dates within the same calendar period (future in general). Users should not be expected to keep clicking on dates to select the desired dates.
(2) Once you access a restriction, and edit it then you click "<=" to go back to the restriction page/dashboard. However, the dates previously selected have been reset to the current/default "applicable" window. The clients would like to not keep selecting the dates…

Charge per hour for Early Check In / Late Check Out
It would be great if it were possible to set an early check-in and early check-out rate per hour. Currently, only a fixed price can be selected, which limits our ability to charge more for these options.

Maximum advance restriction for Web Booking Engine
Use case:
We want to offer a last-minute rate in our web booking engine to increase and stimulate a last-minute pickup. This rate should ONLY display for dates that fall between a maximum advance period of 7 days.Existing restrictions can be set up to affect the arrival date, however cannot limit the departure date. (rate-specific)
It would be useful to have this option within the restriction options.
Work-around:
To achieve the above scenario, is only possible using maximum advance and maximum length restrictions for each night individually. In our case we want to offer a last-minute rate maximum 7…1 vote -

A coloured graph that clearly states occupancy and revenue YOY comparison.

Being able to assign specific room types to a rate vs. all being assigned automatically.
It would be helpful if we can select the specific room types we need to assign to a specific rate plan. Currently, we just need to add more restrictions if a room type cannot be sold under a rate plan.

Relative Adjustments in Rate Management
Base Rates
-Ability to add Surcharge on the "Base Rate" via a Relative Value (%)
-Extend that relative adjustment to the Age Categories
-Extend that as well to the Dynamic Pricing Overriding functionality.Dependent Rates
- Can we also consider an independent "Relative/Aboslute Dynamic Pricing Overriding" functionality as well for the dependent rates? Right now, they are highly dependable on the modifications made to the base rate.5 votes -
Delete rates with "all rates" restrictions
When we want to delete a rate, it is not possible if there are restrictions affecting to "All rates". It is not operational to delete all restrictions affecting to "All rates" in order to eliminate an specific rate. Instead of not letting you delete that rate, it should be asked with a "warning" something like "would you like to delete this rate eventhough there is a restriction on it?

Restrict Products
There are other suggestions about restricting products, but would also be good to restrict products by Room category, and rates/ packages/ dates
For example -
1 offer a cot to rooms that can only accommodate cots and not to all rooms2 offer pet products to rooms that can accommodate a cot and not to all rooms
3 only offer a product on specific dates, rather than all, or seasonally within a certain date range - Strawberries in Summer
4 by package type, if a rate includes a product you wont necessarily want to add again

Visualise rate derivation from rates list
In the list of rates, we see
Name, Base rate, Type (private or public), Short name, External name, Enabled, Default.
It would be nice to have at least one extra column, to visualise the adjustment (absolute or relative) from the base rate. When there's a lot of rates to setup and check it can be time consuming to do those 3 clicks (rate, pricing, adjustment).18 votesHello from the Mews product team. Be able to limit rates
We have rates with rental services included. As we only have a limited number of stand-up paddles, for example, it would be great to limit this arrangement: “this rate can only be booked 5 times per night”.
I currently have to regularly check whether the rate has been booked in order to close it manually for these nights.1 vote
