Agreed. Mews needs some kind of wait list functionality. User Simen Vinge posted a similar idea in November last year here:

    https://feedback.mews.com/forums/955601-mews-booking-engine/suggestions/46753447-automatic-wait-list-feature

Marking this as 'critical' as a wait list helps to maximize bookings and profitability. Any updates on this?

This would be a fantastic addition to Mews' functionalities. There is not even the most basic wait list functionality in Mews. My staff are currently tracking our wait list in Excel, which is not a very efficient solution compared to what Simen is proposing here.

Any updates on the exploration phase of this idea?

    Hello all,

This status update is part of our ongoing work to simplify and streamline how our UserVoice feedback forum operates. We are reducing the number of statuses to two (Idea to Upvote + Released) to help manage expectations about where each idea stands and to minimize the number of status updates required from our product teams. Our product team reviews everything you share, and we might reach out for more info if we need it.

Thanks for your patience as we work to bring your ideas to life! You can learn more about the changes coming to UserVoice from this post in the Mews Community.

Agreed. There should be a simple override for minimum-night booking restrictions, not only for one-night gaps as OP mentions, but across the board.

To get around this, you have to do the following:

    1. Go to the Main Menu > Settings > Services
    2. Click on Restriction
    3. Click on the icon on the top right corner
    4. Select the interval that you want to remove the restrictions for
    5. Select the Rate group
    6. Select All Spaces
    7. Under Exceptions, select "Only restrictions with exceptions"
    8. Click on Continue and delete the restriction
    9. The system will then re-create the restriction, removing the interval of the weekend you want the offer the one night for.

My FOH team does not have the bandwidth to go through the rigamarole every time we need to book a one-nighter on nights with a MLOS restriction. Our previous PMS, ThinkReservations, allows users to do this with a simple override.

    Please take action on this.

    Thank you!
