  1. Update the integration between Salto and Mews with a complete date and time format that also includes minutes instead of hours only.

    Currently, the Salto integration can only receive the check-in and check-out hour but not the minutes. So, if you have a check-in and/or check-out time set at the half-hour, for example at 11:30 am, the integration sends the check-out time at 11:00 am.

  3. The hotel should be notified by email when a guest makes a modification or cancelation of his booking on Mews Distributor (same logic as when a guest makes a booking).

  8. It should be possible to map products to the channel, which are charged once per person and once per stay. Otherwise we are not able to sell our packages online, which include like one massage per guest during the stay.

    Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately, this request will not be added to the Mews development roadmap and is unlikely to be delivered due to technical complications. However, we do agree that this is important to package once products, so we will continue to think about the best solution. 


    This article (https://help.mews.com/s/article/products-and-channel-manager?language=en_US)  explains why it's not possible to map products once or per stay. As a workaround, we can sugges to map such products directly in the channel manager extranet, so they can be booked as an add-on by guest, while making a reservation.

  9. Hi there, Mews Team!

    Laurie here, reaching out from Zapier Support. One or more of our mutual customers has requested a new feature in your app.

    Specifically, they'd like to see an action that would let them close bookings at a specified time every day.

    An example use case for this would be to ensure same-day bookings aren't made after a certain time of day.

    I don't see this available in the API at this time:

    But if this is, or would be, possible, we'd love to hear it!

  13. Currently when you receive a websocket message to say, for example, there's a new reservation, the message doesn't say which Enterprise it is from. If you try and create websocket connections to multiple Enterprises, you can end up with them all coming in on the same channel and there's no way to know which one is which. Without this, it is not possible to query the API with the correct access token to get further information about the reservation.

    Thanks for your submission. Our current focus is on extending our webhooks, which already provide what you are asking for. We recommend you implement our reserveration-webhook and use that to immediately receive all required information. 

  14. Keys (using keycutter) are automatically made based on check-out and check-in times. It would be useful to make a key that works until 10h15 if the check-out is for example at 10am. Now, if guests forgot something or want to pick up luggage they left in the room at 10h01 front office needs to make a new key.

    You’re able to get your reports through Scheduler or through calculating it based on data provided in Connector API.

    Due to performance challenges we are not considering to provide reports via Connector API.

  17. Integrators connecting to Mews' API can retrieve accounting items, such as revenue for one night's accommodation. Some integrators would like to receive information about which staff member or which system created the accounting item.

    With this extension, this data would be returned.

  18. Extend the timefilter to have a UPDATED timefilter, so that you can retrieve all accounting items that have been created/modified within a certain timeframe.
    This way you can easily fetch for example "give me all items that were changed since yesterday".
    Advantage: If you would like to know if there were new accounting items modified/created since the last time you checked, you do not need to get all items for the entire future. That would save a lot of bandwidth and processing (on both server/client side)

  19. Salto can receive a check out command from PMS. Currently, MEWS does not send these commands via the key cutter integration to Salto (early check out fe.).

    Would be a great benefit (and improvement in terms of security) since currently we cannot create a new key via our integrating party for Kiosk.

  20. We should be able to retrieve and use the guest preferred space features with the customer profile using the API. This would allow the guest to update these information from external integrations and this data could be used to offer customized services according to these preferences, like available spaces to offer in case the guest want to change its assigned space
