Allow a free text 'notes' section in the emails sent to the guests. This is to have a more personalised communication and add details such as information about the driver if the bookings includes a transfer or to confirm that a specific request/preference from the guest has been recorded (for example: request for a room with a view, acknowledgment of a food allergy, etc.)

ID CARDS AND SECOND SURNAME
Hello,
I have 3 proposals to make:
First of all, in Spain we use different forms for the travelers registration. Besides the options mews give it to us, we use another forms such as: Spanish residence permit, European residence permit or ID CARD. We cannot find it in the programme. We only find: National identity document, Driver license, Visa or Passport.
I want to ask if it is possible to add that kind of types in our MEWS system.
Also, In Spain we have two surnames. So when we have foreign people from all over the world with just one…

Customer profiles reports E-Mail address
at the "arriving customer profile" and "in house customer profile" reports the E-Mail address is missing on the browser view.
This view is used from reservation and reception to ensure that the profiles are completed.
As the E-Mailadress is important for the whole communication (pre arrival, during stay, post departure and marketing) it is important to get an easy excess to the information on which profile the E-Mail address is missing.5 votesHello Mariusz,

Updated online check in registration form
Currently, it is possible to adapt our registration cards in MEWS. However, if we do so, the registration card that a guest sees during their online check-in does not change. Both registration cards should be similar with the same data required.

Knowing how often a guest stayed before in the hotel

rooming list file be in an order, any order but most preferably Space categories
When downloading the rooming list and opening the excel sheet. There doesn't seem to be any order to how the rooms are lined up.
It would be good if there was some type of order so that when creating bigger group reservations, it is easier to fill in the rooming list.
The most preferred way is if the rooming list could have all the space categories "clumped together" ie

Track and search old names
It would be good to have an history of name changes in guest profiles. It would also be very useful if we could find profiles even when searching for the old name in the search bar. That way we could find a reservation using an original email from the client, evenif the name in the reservation changed.

when merging profiles, could notes from both profiles be kept
At present, when you merge profiles, only the notes on the profile you chose to keep are saved. Any notes on the duplicate profile are lost.

Filter guest in house report not just by products , but also by product categories
To have a quick report for one team it would be easier to filter by product categories. For example food & drinks - to get a list of all products produced in the kitchen or spa & wellness to get a list of massages and treatments. Time of consumption would be another benefit for being prepared.

Profiles, Find Address By Typing Here - Too Eurocentric!
This is a great feature, however it seems to be Euro-centric, in that the house numbers are being put at the END of the guest's address.
Is there anyway to fix this so that Australian addresses always have the house number BEFORE the street address?

We would like to filter in the Customer profile report so that we can find for example: Arrival only VIP Created Blacklisted profiles

Require a valid CC on file
Require a valid CC on file in order to allow a reservation to become guaranteed. Reservations taken by phone / email / in-person don't currently require a credit card on file. A front desk agent can select "Cash" or some other form of payment for a reservation.

notification of confirmation
When the guest confirms or cancels his option in Mews we do not know about it. We would need a notification to submit e.g. the deposit invoice and all details concerning the booking, in case of cancellation to give at least a short reaction to this fact.

Add company sector of business

Namenlijst voor groepen
Wanneer je de namenlijst downlaod met de nieuwe groepsfunctie (multiple reservations). Pakt die alle reserveringen in die profiel, dit is niet handig want voor groepen heb je wel is verschillende namen per reservering ( denk aan tourboekingen). Daarnaast als je de namenlijst downlaod staat alle datums door elkaar, dit is niet in te vullen op een normale manier. Alvast bedankt!

Check In > Co Commander
When you scan a ID-Card or a passport, the system has a problem reading the date the card expires - especially if it expires somewhere around the years 2010 - 2030. The system alway reads 1910 - 1920?!

Add "Extended" in Origin of Booking
When a member wishes to extended their stay, would be nice if their was "Extended" options in origin of booking so we can differentiate if a guest booked through an OTA then extended or booked through an email then extended because presently we have to mark them as "walk ins" and this dilutes our actually "walk in" numbers.
