  2. IF I HAVE A GUEST IN A ROOM FOR 10 NIGHTS AND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STAY I NEED TO CHANGE THE ROOM NUMBER I CAN NOT DO THAT AS THE OTHER ROOM NUMBER OF SAME ROOM TYPE WERE OCCUPIED BEFORE SO IT BLOCKS TO CHANGE THE ROOM NUMBER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STAY

  3. Some hostels often have rooms that do not have bathrooms connected and therefore do not have water pipes. In this a few other cases, turning those rooms to "dirty" with reason "legionella" after 7 days unoccupied does not apply.

    Can we add a setting that will allow us to turn off "legionella"?

  4. it would be great if you would be able to filter the availability report per space category - when you have several space categories, you are not able to see everything on the one screen and are not able to see the space category or date when scrolling further to the right on the time line

  5. Create limited stock for the different product solded.
    For example, if we sold parking spot, and we have a limited number of them.
    it will be perfect if we can't sell more space than we have, without hve checking every day.

  6. At present the available Space Status are Dirty, Clean & Inspected (OOS & OOO).

    From a front office and housekeeping perspective this is limiting.

    Could you please consider the following please?

    VACANT READY - Inspected
    OCCUPIED DIRTY - Guest checked in
    OCCUPIED READY - Inspected stay over
    VACANT DIRTY - Guest checked out
    PICKUP - Room move and for housekeeping to inspect

    This would offer more clarity as to not only the status of the room but also the ‘condition’, meaning the physical status of the room (guest). This is important for the operation of a hotel.

  7. Visible internal notes/tasks inside guests folio billing. So much wasted space. All that space can be used for notes or tasks. Me, personally, i live in billing and i am always there, if you ask me, its the most used window. So i would really love this idea come true. So that all internal notes or tasks about this reservation can be viewed inside billing. Just an idea which i would personally find very useful. Or at least something where we can leave the notes for our colleagues.

  10. To be able to make a report regarding the Space Status by date, so one could know the exact Space Status (Dirty/OOS/Inspected) on a certain date in the past.
    Right now, if one changes the date on the Space Status Report, it will pop up today´s info.

    Thank you for your feedback. We are very happy to inform you that as per your request we have added the option to customise your confirmation email per space type.

    In order to make use of this functionality:
    1. Select a space category (settings > property > space categories)
    2. Scroll down to “Order email template”
    3. Enter the text you would like to be sent to your guests and hit save.
    4. The text will now appear under the “Additional info” section of your confirmation email for the desired space.

    NOTE: The text does not need to be in custom HTML to appear correctly in the email.

  12. Add possibility to restrict particular room numbers (best multiple), this tool would solve lack of allotment administration in Mews. Creating restriction per specifc rooms with maximum advance following release period and per specific rate plan following partners with allotment could work enough.

  13. so instead of graphs and drawing on the dashboard it would be great just to have name on it and when we click on the icon it gives the further details that was we can make the dashboard look much more clean and make more space

  14. The way we upload photos today in space categories is... archaic. One photo at a time, no tags, no way to describe the photo. The way you move photos order is also not efficient.

    For a company like ours who has sometimes 50 photos per chalet, it's a nightmare :)

    Please build a real "media section", where you can upload as many photos / videos as you want in one time. You could add tags and description for each photo / video.

  15. My suggestion is to allow for extra capacity in space categories to be for children only. All my spaces are standard occupancy of two people with some spaces having extra capacity set at two. As a property want to be able to specify 2 adults + 2 children and not potentially attract booking for 4 adults.

  16. Currently in the Status Tab of an Optional Booking, we don't have the ability to assign a Space. However Mews automatically assigns a Space. i.e when Mews assigns a Space, we cannot assign to a different Space, other than by using the timeline to move the reservation. We require the ability to assign space from the Status tab, so that we can assign to None(un-assigned). Similar to Confirmed reservations.

  17. Currently you can book adults or children into a space. However, particularly in hostels, some rooms aren't suitable for children. eg. you shouldn't be allowed to book a 10 year old into our 28 bed dorm on their own.

  18. The space status report filter does not have the option to filter guests that have arrived and the guests that are staying.
    Currently, only one of them can be chosen.

    Please add an additional filter option to do both.

  19. The diagram of status on SPACES shows only counting of 4 separate categories, in our case on a certain date:
    72 Dirty
    23 Clean
    99 Inspected
    2 Out of Service
    However on this particular date the number of OUT OF ORDER is 5, which is more than the 2 Out of service.
    This information is not now not on the dashboard because? (font size to large to fit in the diagram, or is the Diagram too small to show everything? I think it is important that we see also the 5 (!) in the diagram

  20. Now all roomtypes with all room numbers are displayed when assigning a reservation.
    You should only see the rooms available for the roomtype that is active for that reservation. When giving an upgrade you should change the roomtype in the tab 'Properties' > space category. When you changed the roomtype, the rooms for that roomtype available will now be shown in the assignment bar.
