  1. When sending a "Booker confirmation" it would be great to also be able to chose a "custom" receiver and type in the email address. This is possible for the "Confirmation" but not for the "Booker Confirmation".

  2. When a TA uses a generic email address to make a reservation, the new Booker functionality workflow will add the card to the booker (TA), not the actual guest, ending up with an endless list of cards attached to the TA profile.

  3. A solution to display room respecting "ADA" (American with Disabilitites Act") nicely on Booking Engine. Currently, you need to create a new room space for each ADA room. It complicates greatly the usability as user see many room type on Booking Engine. You can see a solution on freehandhotels.com booking engine with a tick box "Accessible"

  4. Recently Mews released the "MewsPassportScan" the feature is great! but we feel like its incomplete, if you have used it before, you will agree.

    The feature allows you to scan the guests passport with the webcam of the computer, this then populates the passport fields with one click making the process way smoother, HOWEVER!!!!

    If you have more than one attendant on a booking this feature flaws massively, as you have to create individual user profiles for the additional guests ONE BY ONE!

    This means that from 1 click one guest, it turns in to 8 clicks per guest profile.…

  5. When accidentally entered an space in front of a first- or lastname in the guest profile we would like MEWS to automatically delete this empty space.

  6. i like to have the same name screen for employees in the kiosk check in screen also for thre check out. in the check out screen you hav to type in the guest name even in the employee modus

  7. We have several guests who request to have the same (or similar) unit as they stayed in before. currently when looking at the guest profile, it is impossible to see what unit number they stayed in unless you open each reservation card.

    Is there a way so that this displays on the dashboard and perhaps rather than using the place cards use a one line list which displays all information in a clearer view similar to the orders view (i.e. res number / cancelled or stayed / arrival and departure date / unit type / unit number / rate code…

  8. Mews currently does not allow restricting minors to be booked into selected room/space types. For example allowing a child to be booked to shared dormitories and especially as the sole traveler is in a breach of regulations in number of countries.

    Feature to add - option to select per space type to allow minors to be booked in and also whether only as secondary occupant to an adult or as sole occupant.

  9. Currently when there is a task i.e. saying a payment request was missed, one has to copy paste the name of the guest to search for the actual payment request. A direct link would be better

  11. When sending a confirmation to a booker, the name of the guest does not appear on the confirmation letter but only the reservation number. This does not look professional at all and we receive many complaints by our guests. They feel like they are a number and not a guest.

  12. Description:
    A classification icon that is automatically added to the guest profile, when adding the guest's information - visible next to the guest's name in the dashboards, guest profile, timeline ect.

    Similar to the "female" icon or other classification icons like "returning", "staff" or "blocklist".

    This would help streamlining our operation, especially when dealing with groups like school/student groups as well as help identifying underage guests that booked individually (which is only possible under certain conditions to be in line with the law and requires different/additional steps upon check-in).

  13. Hello!

    Unfortunately, before start emails are not send for reservations created after the checkin time on the day of arrival (last Minute bookings). There should be an option to have those emails sent at any point, regardless of time.

  14. Imagine this situation:
    Guests are early for CI and waiting for their room to be ready. This room could then be marked as "notify me about status change".
    When housekeeping changes the room status to "inspected" a notification is sent to the front office.
    Then they can call the guests and they can check in as early as possible.

  15. Our big company clients have a lot of branch offices all over Europe. Actually it is not possible in Mews to find the right branch office by typing in the name of the company and the city of the branch. Why not? This should be quite easy to be solved and save a lot of time. Furthermore it would avoid creating the same branch office again and again.

  16. now it takes a long time to link companies to a master. as you always have to scroll (remembering where you were), click in, add master. and wait for 4, 5 sec and then go back to companies, scroll again, click in ...

    instead of - better - be in the master and just add the companies

  19. It would be neat if the guests were able to check in on the kiosk and get their pin code there.
    Or have the pin code display directly in Mews.

  20. To be able to choose which fields are visible in the reservation confirmation. It would be great to uncheck some of the values, such as rate name or product for certain costumers, but currently you can only delete the entire row (reservation detail) which is not an option.
