Licence plate number
With the thema Licence plates, the current online Registration cards do not have the option for guests to provide a plate nummber. So even though the guest completes the online check-in they still have to provide this information to the reception

Guest experience App
Guests can chat with us via the button in the booking confirmation, why is there no app or interface for guests to install on our tablets or guest phone so they can continue to chat with us during their stay?

Make the calendar easier for guests
The calendar in the kiosk for the expiration date, birthdate, etc. is very illogical. It would be better if guests are able to write the date themselves, or make it a 3-part process (think apple) with the year date, and month separate.
The process to click the year first (tiny module top right) and then find the month and then the date is very confusing and unintuitive.6 votesHello from the Mews product team. Seach bookings by booker
To be able to seach for booking using the bookers profile - not only by the guest profil.

Add guest number on first screen of booking engine
For a better customer journey, it would be very helpful to first choose date AND the number of persons per room, and then display all suitable rooms.
That would make the online booking process f.E. for families much easier. Once Age based Product pricing is released, it would make the booking process of packages for families (f.E. with children Skiticket and adult Skiticket) much easier to be displayed.
So the booking engine would work like this:
Date & number of people -> room category -> Rate & Products -> Overview -> Details

Remove automatic task for products added
When guests add a product during online check-in a task is created, we would like to be able to select whether the task creates or not and have the option to disable this automatic task from creating.

travel agent set up and search
I tried finding a specific travel agency today and discovered that you are not able to search in the travel agency contracts profile!
as they are not alphabetically or able to filter other than by country, it is sheer impossible to find anything!
is there please an improvement coming with regards to agents as this is the most time consuming an illogical part of Mews.

Find guest by phone number
I would like to find guest profiles in Mews by entering the phone number in the search bar (Even if country code is missing or written in 00 instead of +).

Check Out Kiosk
For Hotels/Hostels without reception it is necessary that the guest can check out at the kiosk - and pay the bill right there. The kiosk has an integrated Mews terminal, so the look and feel is exactly as it is at the online check out - just with the payment at the kiosk.

Sort name search results by recent
When looking for a name in the search bar, the results are shown in alphabetical order. It would be way more convenient if the client profiles where sorted by closest reservation in time.
That way, when typing "Smith", you'll first get Mr Smith that has a reservation tomorrow or Mr Smith that just left last week-end and not Adam Smith from 4 years ago.21 votesHello from the Mews product team!

Restrict Availability to Rooms Availablie only in Conescutive Days
Show availability of rooms in the booking engine only if they are available in consecutive days to prevent guest from having to switch rooms. There should be a setting that would enable this functionality for properties that do not want to disappoint guest upon arrival.

If guest selects dates, we only show room categories which are available for him in this time.

Make it clear that guests can re-cut keys from Kiosk
I think it would be ideal (and something seen in many other kiosks) that a in-house guest could recut his/her key in the kiosk if they have lost it. This would mean that the kiosk have three function 1. Check in 2. Check out 3. recut keys if lost. Thanks

Nationality Question
Can we please have the nationality question removed when a guest is making an online reservation? We've had multiple guest complaints regarding this. We appreciate your help!

Make 'email' a mandatory field in registration form
Set the “email” field of a booking as mandatory in the customer profile. This information is extremely important in terms of customer interaction. Moreover a customer will be more willing to change an email address created by Booking or Expedia into its own personal email address.

We already have a functionality in place to collect "real" email addresses from guests who have booked through an OTA, as part of the online check-in flow.

Option to block company profiles from being edited
It would be nice if you can block certain company profiles from being edited or deleted.
A simple check box for this, similar to the invoiceable checkbox would be great.
If this checkbox is selected the profile should only be adjustable by users with certain rights, similar to the invoiceable option.

Unable to search company/TA profiles by IATA
Would be helpful to assist in selecting correct TA profile when multiple exist with the same address. Would be great to be able to locate a profile, in the PMS search bar, by IATA number

Online check-out emails to be sent at customised time
Online check-out emails are currently sent at 5pm day before arrival. For properties with high focus on a relaxed luxury experience this has caused negative guest reactions. Ex a guests checks-in at 4.30pm, for a 1 night getaway and on their way to the spa 30min later they get a an email prompting online check-out. Whilst it may seem efficient it might not be a relaxing guest experience. In addition, properties with a high capture rate for dinner would not want to push their guest to take actions before dinner charges has been added to the bill. The ability to…

better search results
many a time we type in a guest surname only to get a blank result. unless you type in the first name of a guest, you are getting a wrong outcome.
this is absolutely vital for us as many times you get a family name to look for and not the first name of a guest. you are then either saying the guest is not in-house or you don't know it is a return guest.

self check in
Hi - Self Check in has a maximum amount of times that it is possible to use ?! As it seems. Quote 100 has been reached for a regular guest of ours and he can not use the service anymore. The service self check in not usable anymore for that particular guest staying as often as he does. Is this correct ?
