We are working with Assa Abloy integrations and have self kiosk in some hotels. We experience on occasion a situation where we want to track how the key was created for the guest, but find that there is no method of actually tracing back (other then timestamp, and then use cctv) who has made the keycard and where.
Basically, the request is, add 'who' made the key cards in the action log.1 vote

Chain hotels that manage (Group-) or individual reservations for 95% from headquarters level want to restrict individual hotels to make any changes on the reservation. Especially, when the majority of guests are corporate travellers whereby the booking has been made by the company booker. There is an agreement between Chain and Company HQ, whereby the individual hotels are not allowed to make any changes on the reservation.
Restricting employees to only view the reservation details, but are still able to check-in/out and handle the billing of the guestprofile would resolve this.1 vote

Hi there Mewsers!
You’ve asked and we’ve listened.
We upgraded the action log to make it more detailed and easier to use.
Below are some of the additional details that we’ve added.
Before, when a reservation moved to a different room, you couldn’t see which room it was in originally—now you’ll always see exactly how the reservation looked before and after each change.
We’ve enhanced updates for products. You’ll now be able trace for example, the additions of order items as well as the price adjustments made to your products.
And finally on the pricing side, no need for a calculator! You can now monitor and report on changes to prices with the both net and gross values, as well as the affects the changes you’ve made have on taxes.
We will continue working on updates to the action log for different sections of the system. Stay tuned for more!
When managing different hotels, it is hard to see on which hotel you are logged in. Everything is Black/White. The only thing to differentiate is the small logo on the right corner. (As our logos are also B/W, you have to look carefully). If we could set the whole background in a specific colour, we could differentiate more easily and avoid mistakes... The aim is above all to identify more clearly on which hotel you are logged in. The colour is just an idea.31 votes
This feature is now available in Mews Multi-Property
Since Mews is a cloud solution and therefore accessible from anywhere, it is important that users are careful to log out once they are no longer using the platform. To help increase security measures, a feature could be implemented to automatically log out Mewsers who have been inactive for a certain period of time. After this predetermined interval, users would then have to reenter their user details to access Mews again.53 votes
