It would be extremely helpful to be able to write comments on reservation directly from the reservation overview report instead of having to click details->administer->properties and THEN be able to write a comment. After all of that, you cannot even just click back, because then you will come to the home screen and not the reservation overview report again. It would save us alot of time, especially us who write comments on almost every single reservation when we go through them for the day to check for extra needs, memberships etc :)

  2. We often have groups staying on the basis of bed & breakfast for the first night and a package deal from the second night onwards.

    We would like to be able to indicate in one reservation cq room, per night, which rate or rate group should be used. So not the PRICE, but actually select a specific rate type.

    Now we have to make two separate reservations, which is very confusing for our Housekeeping and Front Office.

  3. When blocking rooms with "house-use" function, it would be great to have the function to select more rooms at the same time. Now we have to create single blocks and it takes long time.

  4. Maintenace - all columns in TASKS are Sortable = Dropdown menu
    Could you enable column sorting (e.g., by "Name,")? This would help us organize tasks, such as sorting hotel rooms in ascending or descending order.
    Would appreciate your feedback on possible solutions. Our previous sytem had this and we m,iss this feature a lot.

  5. Currently, the way room numbers are sorted in Mews is fixed and there is no way to change it quickly. It would be helpful to be able to sort rooms numerically, alphabetically or by floor and to allow for quick changes between these displays for different workflows.

  6. As we also write important information for the check out in the comments, it would be useful if these were also always automatically displayed in the check out report. Currently you have to select them in the filter/options. With every action, however, the selection is always canceled and must be selected again.

  7. Ich fände es hilfreich, wenn über der Datumsleister auch eine Angabe der Kalenderwoche wäre.
    Auch beim Anlegen einer Buchung, wenn das Feld mit den Datumsangaben kommt, wäre es gut, wenn in klein und grau die KW daneben stünde.

  9. Currently when you make a new reservation, the "public voucher" section lists all vouchers, even vouchers with expired "Reservation to" dates. I would like these expired vouchers to automatically hide if the validity date has expired so that we don't need to manage and delete old vouchers.

  12. We request the functionality to round reservation prices to whole numbers in our booking system.

    This adjustment is crucial for maintaining the upscale image of our 4 and 5-star hotels, as current pricing often results in decimals.

    Implementing whole number pricing will simplify transactions and enhance the premium perception of our rates.

  13. be able to turn off "Optional" and "Inquired" status for reservations. Have it be optional for a property and let the property control whether they want front desk agents to be able to access these statuses. Our property does not. It causes confusion.

  14. It would be important to have the possibility to generate an alarm pop-up at check in.

    Often parcels, letters, messages have to be handed over, the director or supervisor should be called. Such messages make daily life much easier, but they are difficult or impossible to see in the property note or have to be actively searched for.

  16. It would be useful if we could set a different price for the extra bed adjustment based on the room category (without having to create different rates for it). Additionally, we would like to be able to set different prices depending on the time of the year (example: extra bed in low season can be cheaper than extra bed in high season).

  18. CURRENT SYSTEM BEHAVIOUR:

    At present, if a guest attempts to modify a paid reservation through any channel — typically an OTA — the changes are not applied in Mews. Instead, we simply receive an email notification stating that Mews was unable to process the requested modifications and we are asked to implement the changes manually.

    This approach presents two significant issues:

    1.) In many cases, this restriction is unnecessary, as the modification does not impact the reservation's price. For instance, if a guest only updates their smoking preference or changes the name of the person staying at the hotel, it…

  19. Show Rates connected to Segment. We have certain rates with certain segments. When creating a booking and so choosing a segment it should only show rates with that segment.

  20. For Mews to alert Users with Push Notifications and banners about Missed Check-ins - especially if certain logical/successive actions are taken on a specific arrival directly but the user never clicked on the C/I button.
