    so,

    Out of order: dark gray
    Future stay: less dark gray
    checked out: light gray

    Why???

    Departures: light blue
    People checking in: light blue

  2. In a big chain with 12500+ travel agents, it is a must to being able to look on IATA number. A lot of TA's have the same name but may have another IATA number.

  3. we are not able to see anywhere the list of names when doing a search. not when making a booking, not when adding a guest to a booking, nothing nowhere.
    this is a huge issue as bookings can't be completed or amended and mistakes are being made. can't even add a booker who has now asked me twice already for the payment link to be sent to her!!!!!!!!!

  4. Please allow for different room quantity allotments over each date to reflect typical room block patterns. Currently, I can only enter the same amount of rooms over each date, that is not how blocks usually work and it prevents me from easily entering the rooming list in the block once it goes definite.

    Hi Kenna,


    Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. It is currently possible to set room quantity per day, per space category in a block.


    In order to do this, click the "Adjust" button on the block dashboard > Select a date where you'd like to remove availability and manual enter the number. This action can be done for any date within the block, whereas the bulk update option allows you to set different room quantities for a selected period.

  5. i am trying to make a new booking for a guest as part of a "group".
    however, the system does not let me chose the correct service option and insists i book a cot instead of an apartment.
    totally pointless.
    i do not wish to make a new reservation from the guest profile as i wish to keep all the other information of the current booking. reason is that there is a short break in the existing booking and not a complete new one.
    thank you for investigating and fixing.
    PS - this is not the first time this happens…

  6. Would be nice if the room number shows up behind the name while using the search bar. If you look up a name now, you have to click on the name before you see the room number.

  7. it is actually unworkable as it will try to update for at least 2 minutes (no exaggeration!)
    it does it for as good as all the actions you and you basically need to open a new mews session (or risk that you forgot what you were about to do in the first place)

    We are happy to inform you that we have resolved the performance issues for the system.

    You and your team should be able to run Mews at an improved speed. Should you continue to experience performance issues, please do let us know.

  8. Due to the actual situation we have a high interest in walk in numbers. At the moment there is possibility to get a walk in figure. It can be only assumed reservations for the same day are walk ins, but its not clear at all. Therefore we request a walk in origin code which can be much better tracked.

When using Commander on an iPad, when selecting links such as under Finance, Reports and Reservations the links are very close together and when touched, there is no response or incorrect input as your finger may accidentally touch the wrong link. You have to be careful where you touch. On a laptop or computer, there doesn't seem to be a problem but with a smaller screen there is a challenge. Maybe spacing these links slightly more apart or using a slightly larger font would help in accidental input.

  11. How is is not possible to move guests to another room, without making a new reservation or splitting a reservation. Too much work in to a simple action. Too much work where is no extra time for these trying times with too little employees.

    Thank you for contacting the Mews Product team.

    We currently offer several ways to move reservations including dragging and dropping reservations to another room from the timeline, as well as the ability to move reservations to another space from the status tab of the reservation screen or to a different space category from the properties tab on the reservations screen.

  14. every time you delete a house use booking it crashes the system. a couple of days ago it just took about 2 minutes to process through the system, since yesterday it crashes the actual page and you have to re-open a new mews to continue your work. totally frustrating

  15. Registration cards in the US legal environment are in the wrong format: DD/MM/YYYY.
    The correct format according to the local standard should be MM/DD/YYYY.

  16. It would be handy if it would be possible to directly assign a task to someone in a reservation, for example extra bed for housekeeping, as extra next to linking a reservation to a task.

    We are happy to inform you that we currently support the ability to create and assign a task directly from a reservation.

    In order to perform this action:

    1. Select a reservation > select the status tab >
    2. Scroll down and select “Create task”. 3. This will open the task form where you can both, create a task and assign it to either an employee or department.

  17. every time you complete a task, the filters disappear / clear. that has never happened before and is rather annoying to be honest. it is a waste of time having to (re)set them after each action.

  18. The colors on the timeline just make it more difficult to manage our inventory. Having the OOO rooms in a brighter color made it simple to track. Having everything in shades of grey is NOT an improvement

  19. We have more than enough of different kinds of stay items for halfboard and other food peroducts. Could you give us a saved report to print all items used only on one report? I mean as we use the operations/product report but we could have a fixed report to show all halfboard items and breakfast and special dinners? Like a food and beverages report. Please.

  20. Display future reservations on the dashboard in the reservations block. Currently you have to run a report choosing the booking date to find the next reservation. It would be very helpful to see who's coming next, even if it's in a few days.
