  1. If we make an optional reservation for our guests and send them our offer. The guests confirm the reservations through the link but the responsible employee/department do not get any information or notification, so it is problematic to keep track of these bookings. It would be great to get atleast a pop up notification if the guests confirm there reservations. This information is essential for internal planning for almost every property.

  2. In regards to the segmentation of the block, it would be amazing to be able to set the segment per block as we normally segment each of our reservation on a much more granular level.

    As you can imagine, setting the segment directly in each reservation’s module can be quite time consuming. Being able to add the segment on block level would solve that.

  3. Receive a notification (email) when a guest orders a product or service as an upsell at the kiosk check-in process. Currently this is only possible for all products and services ordered through both commander and channel. We would like to see the option to enable notifications only for kiosk transactions. In this way the reception knows which actions to take next.

  4. sometimes you need to alert more than one department and/or people of the same task.
    would be handy if you had the opportunity to chose more than one department for the task, or be able to copy it, rather than having to type it all again.

  6. In den Benachrichtigungen, wäre es super hilfreich, wenn nicht nur "neue Bestellung erzeugt" stehen würde, sondern zB. "Neue Distributor Buchung Anreise heute", oder "Neue Booking.com Buchung Anreise 02.05.22"

    Zusätzlich wäre auch ein Logo anstatt des grauen Kreises sinnvoll.

  7. Persons arriving later to a unit than the already checked in people - cannot be added for only a part of the whole stay. Same with persons departing earlier than the other people of the same unit.
    Within in an apartement 2 people stay 2 nights 2 people stay 4 nights.

  8. Dear Mews Team,

    Could you create a new Mobile Application where it will be possible to directly use Mews website instead of using an internet browser (like Google Chrome, Safari,...) on iPhone / iPad ?

    At the moment the interface is not so user friendly and it could really save us time by creating a dedicated application like the MewsCommander app.

  9. when you want to implement a namelist for a certain date. However that booking is a group booking with multiple dates. And even if you select only 1 date, all bookings will appear in the downloaded name list without order. Meaning that all dates are mixed up and then you also need to add 50+ names. It takes very long and it would be better if you can implement it per booking date.

    Same goes for confirmed and optional bookings. If you download the namelist both bookings are implemented in the namelist, You prefer only the ones selected - which…

  10. How can it be that manual adjustments to a reservation are always overwritten by the channel manager? In addition, the profile, which then has to be adjusted again several times by the employee. This makes the work more difficult!

  11. When a payment request is expired or paid - it is not assigned to any departments.

  12. possibilité de fermer les chambres à la réservation tout les soirs à la même heure et ouverture tout les matins à la même heure. exemple : reception fermé de 23h00 à 7h30 pas de possibilité de louer des chambres entre 22h00 et 7h30

  13. When companions are added to large reservations e.g. 100 + from the rooming list identifying the names of the companions is very difficult in these large groups. If users expand the columns, it means that they have to do a large amount of scrolling to find guest information as simple as the guests name.

    Allow users to select whether or not they would like companions to become reservation owners when they have been added from a rooming list.

  15. Ensure that the items for each stay are assigned to an individual bill. It is confusing, if there are different stays and prepayments displayed on one bill and extra work is needed to separate them for check-out.

  17. Currently to check in a guest, You have to navigate too many screens between payment, guest info, and check in. Instead when you click check in, MEWS should automatically prompt the guest info then payment instead of having to navigate multiple tabs.

  19. Right now, it is only possible to make a room move for an in-house guest when the room that you are planning to use hasn't been used during the time that that guest was staying. And this is very inconvenient when the guest that we are trying to move is a long-stayer. For example:

    Mr Smith has been staying from the 1/3 until 20/3.
    On the 15/3 I need to move him to room #219.
    In order for the system to allow me to do it, room #219 should have been empty since 1/3. So, if #219 was only used…

  20. it would be good if we could print an in-house guest list including mobile numbers. we use this for emergencies (i.e. fire roll call) and currently we are only able to print guest name, room number, number of occupants.

    for that same reason it would be good if we had the option to mark a guest as "requirying assistance" which would print on this report. that doesn't have to be a "disabled" person, but could be somebody with young children or difficulty walking
