  1. in the new reservation module only an average price is displayed. a total price would be easier. possibly leaving the choice to the user as to what may be displayed.

  2. "For many properties, reservations will come in from various travel agencies, which often come along with unique travel agency numbers. To help clarify this these various details, a field for travel agency number could be added to the reservation module to keep all those important details in one easy-to-find place."

  3. Change MEWS timeline and space status colors back please, (blue = dirty, black = inspected, green = clean, yellow - ooo, red = oos)

Mews has always strived to connect with as many integrations as possible, however as we are continually finding great new software to work with, we'd like to introduce the possibly of installing integrations directly from Mews Commander. This means that adding new integrations would be easier than ever, bypassing requests to integration partners and enabling automatic token sharing.

  6. How is is not possible to move guests to another room, without making a new reservation or splitting a reservation. Too much work in to a simple action. Too much work where is no extra time for these trying times with too little employees.

    Thank you for contacting the Mews Product team.

    We currently offer several ways to move reservations including dragging and dropping reservations to another room from the timeline, as well as the ability to move reservations to another space from the status tab of the reservation screen or to a different space category from the properties tab on the reservations screen.

  7. it is actually unworkable as it will try to update for at least 2 minutes (no exaggeration!)
    it does it for as good as all the actions you and you basically need to open a new mews session (or risk that you forgot what you were about to do in the first place)

  9. It would be handy if it would be possible to directly assign a task to someone in a reservation, for example extra bed for housekeeping, as extra next to linking a reservation to a task.

    Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.

    We are happy to inform you that we currently support the ability to create and assign a task directly from a reservation.

    In order to perform this action:

    1. Select a reservation > select the status tab >
    2. Scroll down and select “Create task”. 3. This will open the task form where you can both, create a task and assign it to either an employee or department.

  10. Registration cards in the US legal environment are in the wrong format: DD/MM/YYYY.
    The correct format according to the local standard should be MM/DD/YYYY.

  11. every time you complete a task, the filters disappear / clear. that has never happened before and is rather annoying to be honest. it is a waste of time having to (re)set them after each action.

  12. In case of group bookings, would it be possible to select several rooms which have the space category to move them to another space category instead of doing one by one?

  13. The colors on the timeline just make it more difficult to manage our inventory. Having the OOO rooms in a brighter color made it simple to track. Having everything in shades of grey is NOT an improvement

  14. We have long term residential guests who stay with us through a partner provider and who each sign a contract before they arrive - it would be great to be able to attach a copy of the contract to the guest profile so we can refer to it quickly and easily.
