  1. Mews now send and API call to Hotek Key cutter for only one key at a time, if you want to create multiple keys at a time it send it separately and not in one command. We check with Hotek and they confirmed to us that Mews send multiple keys creating in different commands and not in one command. This cause a lot of irritation with people at the reception, because it's not clear when the first key is created and when they need to put the second key on the card reader. Allowing duplicate keys is not and option…

  4. We need to regulate our departures on Sundays. Instead of having no departures on Sundays we prefer to offer for long stay clients (7days +) a departure on Sundays, but not for example for a stay Friday to Sunday.
    Right now it is not possible to send this type of restriction to the channelmanger by mews.
    It would be great to have the settled restrictions channelled in the right way.

  5. Is there any way we could have an "Orders/GetAll" API call? The reason for this is the ability to grab notes stored in an order which is not linked to a reservation. Please note that those notes are different from the notes existing in the respective accounting items.

    These standalone orders can be found in the bottom section (Orders) of a customer dashboard in the front end, along with their Notes we want, which currently cannot be extracted through the Mews API.

    This ORDERS dataset being taken from such an API call would also be useful for reporting since the…

    In the meantime, if would be very helpful for us if you could expand on your use case for the notes. How do you intent do use the orders/GetAll endpoint with its notes?

  6. Currently unable to attach the company to a bill via Connector API. Having this enables possibility to fully automate bill management for corporate/event bookings.

    One way could be to allow integration partners to specify CompanyId in the bills/add endpoint.

  7. Currently we are unable to adjust the Inquired status to Optional status via the Connector API. So the connection with Thynk is not working, Optional groups in Thynk are not pushed through to Mews under Inquired status.....this causes imbalance between the systems

    - When was it created?
    - When was it last modified?

  11. Users in Mews can choose from a pre-defined list of reasons when manually cancelling reservations in the reservations module in Mews PMS.

    However, when a reservation is cancelled via API, the cancellation reason defaults to "Other".

    It would be great to be able to also specify cancellation reason via the API (drawing from the pre-defined list available in Mews) so that integration partners can help keep the reservations reporting as accurate as possible.

  12. We are working with Wihp to display our rates on Google. Actually Mews is not able to provide the cancellation deadline for each rates, other OTAs are able to provide rates per room category and with cancelation deadline. We need to be able as well to show to our customers our cancelation policy per rate category.

  13. In the call reservations/getall, 'Cancellation Reason' is not included in the response. This would provide integration partners with more granular data of why a reservation was cancelled and improve 3rd party reporting and revenue management. Available information for cancellation reasons from the system would include:
    - COVID-19
    - Other
    - Confirmation missed
    - Booked elsewhere
    - Force majeure
    - Guest complaint
    - No show
    - Price is too high
    - Service not available
    - Input error
    - Invalid payment
    - Travel agency
    - Requested by guest

    The call never returns any CompanionIds within a reservation. The companions have been added both, by API Call and via the MEWS frontend

  16. Hi Mews team,

    We are using Mews Distributor for our Pay on Arrival dates with activated 1% Pre-authorization on credit/debit cards.

    However, the Distributor states that customer will "pay" the 1%.
    For example, if the whole booking costs £350.00, the customer will be pre-authorized for £3.50.
    Mews Distributor currently states that the customer will "pay £3.50".

    This is incorrect, as full payment, not a remainder, will be taken on arrival.

    Can we please have the wording changed from "pay" to "pre-authorized" or similar.

  17. By doing more actions Mews to Mews on Zapier we would be able to have an infinite possibility of automations in various fields such as :
    - payments : charge 50% remaining of a flexible rate, 30 days before arrival
    -preauthorisations : on day of arrival, charge automatically the preauthorisations. If failed send email to team and guest...
    - out of order : if maintenance issue task, turn property to OOO
    -...
    If doable the possibilities would be endless and allow advance users through automation to personalize/automate their PMS

  20. In our MEWS Distributor we have a widget comparing our prices with booking.com / expedia / hotels.com: "Book online, get more"
    I would like to be able to change this text. I would like to change it into "Book online, pay less" and change "prices" in "rates"
