Include merchant fee adjustment in the CreditCardTransaction object
Integration partners can retrieve the estimated transaction fee via accountingItems/getAll, with CreditCardTransaction extent.
The "Fee" parameter gives the estimated transaction fee value. (https://mews-systems.gitbook.io/connector-api/operations/finance#credit-card-transaction)
However, with the recent feature release of transaction fee adjustments for select properties, the updated fees are not returned, and can cause discrepancy between data in Mews PMS and in other systems (e.g. accounting, business intelligence, etc).
In the exported Payment Report, "Fee total net"/"Fee total" refers to the estimated transaction fee and will be displayed "Fee" parameter in the CreditCardTransaction object. On the other hand, "Adjusted total fee" in the same report refers to…

Resource block creation/updates as one of the Resource Events in Webhook/WebSocket
Currently, an integration partner that uses inventory data (such as Revenue Management systems, Event Management, etc) needs to poll resourceBlocks/getAll and are not able to sync space avilability in real time.
There is already a WebSocket notification when a room/space/resource is make as Out of Service (OOS). Would be great to expand that to cover Out of Order (OOO) and House Use blocks to reduce the need for calling the API regularly to check for created/updated resource blocks.

Integration for digital receipt system in Italy
In Italy it is mandatory to implement a system to digitally save the receipts and send them to the government. This is usually done through a software or a POS system. However, none of POS system in Mews offer this service, as they are developed in countries where this option is not needed.
Hence I propose an integration with a system like NEXI - https://www.nexi.it/shop.

Pohoda (Accounting Software) Interface
Pohoda is an Accounting Software commonly used across CZ and SK. An interface would help automate the data exchanges between the 2 systems.

Expand the available filters for searches done via MEWS Marketplace?
Primarily introduce the option to order results by "Most popular integration" in a given category.
Given the more choices one has the less likely they are to choose something (analysis paralysis sets in), this could help improve user experience, by helping properties decide on an particular integration without having to sift through tens or hundreds of otherwise unordered results.

Integrations divided by country
Besides dividing the Marketplace into integrations' categories, I think it would be smart to divide it into integrations' country of reference. This would allow the user who is picking the integrations to first check the ones provided by the country where his business is located, as they probably are a better fit to his business type and are able to solve certain issues related to that specific country.
2 votesWe have made country selection available to all our partners. Many of them have already selected which countries they operate in. As a Marketplace user you will only find integrations that are relevant to the country of your property.

Lightspeed POS Self Order Menu
Lightspeed POS offers a Self Order Menu. It would be revolutionary if Mews can integrate Mews Navigator with this. As this would allow Lightspeed to identify the guest(Room Number/Guest Name) and then based on their purchases, post the necessary charges to the correct room. The self order menu would contain the menu/prices directly from Lightspeed and hence would not be needed in Mews.

I guess this is a bug in the API.

Booker for Distributor: The email address should not be a mandatory field
Booker for Distributor: The email address should not be a mandatory field as the assistants do not know each single email address of all employees they are doing reservations for. At the moment they are using the same email address for different guests. So the guest profiles are overwritten anytime. If we are creating reservations manually, the email address is also not a mandatory field. It should be enough to have the email address of the booker. That is the only way to use the distributor valueable for corporate guests.

for all booking done by booker, you can now configure whether the guest e-mail is mandatory or optional.
We recommend to keep guest’s e-mail required but if you need to set guests e-mail optional, here is how to do it:1. Go to Settings > Stay > Distributor configurations and select the configuration from the list.
2. In the configuration scroll down to field:
“Guest email (when booker is not a guest) *” and select “Optional” option.With this set up only booker’s e-mail will be required on the “Details” page.

Connector API: pull stay product packages (product rules)
Be able to pull information about product rules that are set up in the system.
This will give an overview of the products that are getting attached to the certain rate, segment, rate group, space category or space type in Mews
9 votesPackages in Mews are created by applying product rules to rates. These rules define which and how many products are added/removed from a given reservation. You can now retrieve all product rules configured at a property using the Get all rules endpoint.
