  1. For guests that are traveling with children, it is nice to give them a discounted price for some stay products, such as breakfast or excursions. Implementation of pricing for children can help to alleviate some of these costs for your customers and make pricing more attractive for families.

  2. Company profiles are very important to keep track of business travelers and are used to analyze data regarding corporate stays. For this reason, it is always important to keep company details up to date. As many companies change or if there are any duplicate profiles, it could then be very useful to implement company profile merging, similar to the feature available for customer profiles. This addition can help keep all profiles up to date and encourage consolidation in your property's system.

  3. Our regular guests want the same room every reservation, right now we need to assign and block this space to them manually. My idea is to have select box to select the favorite room number of a guests in their 'profile' internals. By this MEWS can automatically block the favorite room of the guest when the reservation is made.

    We are very happy to inform you that your request to automatically assign guests to their favourite room is ready and available for your use.

    Head over to a customers profile and, select the “internals” tab then click on “Preferred space features” to mark the preferences for your loyal guests.

    Tip: Make sure that you have space features setup to ensure that the guests are automatically assigned to the correct room.

  4. When we merge guest profile, we can lose some informations in the guest profile notes box. This is really problematic and should not happen...

  7. Notes are often added to reservations and meant for a specific department. To help clarify who each message may be intended for, notes functionality could be expanded to include a field for department. This labeling could help eliminate confusion and notify each team about important information.

  9. When you're creating a new reservation inside a guest reservation/group (extension) you'll have to add, again, the guest profile. It would be way easier and faster if the guest profile was added automatically by default.

    We are happy to inform you that adding an additional reservation to a group from the group reservations screen will automatically populate the guest profile. All you will have to do from there is select room and rate!

  16. When you export customer profiles to excel, the field 'language' is not added. So I need to filter on postal code to know which language the customer speaks. Which is totally incorrect.
    Please add the field 'language' to the excelfile guest profiles.

    We have reviewed the request to print multiple registration cards in one go for the day, this is currently possible from reservation overview report.

    You can perform this action by selecting a date you would like to print the registration cards for (it can be the current date or a date in the future), click the button “Registration cards” on the top right. This will open a new tab with all of the registration cards for the date you have selected, from here you will be able to print out the registration cards.

  18. Would be helpful to assist in selecting correct TA profile when multiple exist with the same address. Would be great to be able to locate a profile, in the PMS search bar, by IATA number

  20. Once the guest is checked out, it would be great that the classification gets automatic returning icon. So at the next visit, we can clearly see that its not the customers first visit.
