Property Operations and PMS: this is the forum for posting your ideas and comments on all aspects of hotel operations, from reservations to events to metrics and reports.   1. In order to start a reservation office for the several hotels in one destination, we would like to see and compare voucher rates of all hotels to offer the guest the best fitting room.
    That would work, as soon as we have the possibility to put in the voucher in the reservation screen before we choose the hotel from one destination.

  2. Sometimes is crucial for us, to improve time assistance, to have a button action to just print out all invoice that belongs to a guest profile, like a summary without having to print one by one separately.

  4. Once a reservation has been confirmed in Mews, it is currently not possible to change that status to optional. Rather, the user must delete and recreate this reservation as optional in order to do so. Introducing the functionality to edit reservation status could help your front office simplify booking changes as they could update those details directly from the reservation module.

  5. I would like an option in my user profile to hide my email address for other members of my company. Those email addresses are visible in the chat with guests window.

  6. In terms of security it would make sense to hide the credentials of the FTP export target. Furthermore it would make sense to add the protocol to the URL field (i.e default value ftp://ftp.***.***).

  7. If the automatic settlement fails for one reservations for whatever reason, it would be great to have an automatic posting of cancellation fee on the billing.

  8. When double clicking on the reservation number, it also selects some text next to the reservation number.
    In the daily use, you often have to copy the reservation number, so it's much easier and faster if you can do it with a double click.

  9. We have set up different rate types for 1/2 use and 3/4 use per room. The the 3/4 use option is alway first shown, when making a reservation in commander. We would prefer 1/2 use first shown.

  10. So we have tasks and we can filter them out with departments. But I think it would be a nice touch, when you are going to tasks, it would predict department you are assigned to, and will show this by default, without filtering it out.

  12. end of day should not be mandatory 12pm. Some guests arrive after 12pm - will be automatically noshow on that day. Further, it is not logic to book f&b products on another day, when the main day of the event is the prior one. This distorts heavily statistics

  13. NR Bookings made via booking.com with different guestnames are not taken over in Mews. If you do yourself, and delete bookers name, payment information dissapears. How to implement other name in single room without changing payment info?

  14. We should be able in Commander to filter room search upon making a new booking or re-assignment based on requested/needed attributes. Also we should offer to guests on Distributor to pick the attributes of their choice and inventory should be shown accordingly.

  15. Our flexi rate is +20% of our base rate. So when guest adds an extra bed for 1000 they get charged 1200 for the extra bed with a fexible rate.
    We dont want this we only want to charge 1000.
    So we cant use this feature and have to use extra bed as a product which in itself leads to other issues.

  20. The virtual credit card must be deleted/disabled automatically after a useless time. In general these CC serves to charge once and are no longer to be valid. It can be very useful for the regular customer profiles.
