Availability block reservation status
To effectively utilize the Availability Blocks section, we need the ability to pick up rooms from a block that has an optional booking status. We often work with call-in allocations, where clients reserve a set number of rooms (e.g., 50) for their participants. As participants book rooms, the booking status changes to "confirmed" once a room is booked for an individual.

Option for "Start check in X minutes before arrival time"
When using digital solutions and integrations, accurate timing is crucial.
In Mews, the selected arrival time does not always match the exact check-in time when using automated check-in. Sometimes, there can be an additional delay of up to 10 minutes before the reservation is fully checked in, causing issues—for instance, when promising guests "check-in at 3 PM" and having an automated flow dependent on the exact check-in time.
By implementing an option like "Start check-in X minutes before arrival time," each property could individually accommodate this delay, significantly improving the guest experience.

Automatic invoice dispatch at check out if mail is stored
In addition to the “Close paid invoice” checkbox at check-out, offer “Close paid invoice and send by email” as an option. We always send the invoice to private guests by email, but nothing needs to be changed on the invoice and automation would take up a lot of work here.

Dear Mews forum managers,
I've been on the forum for a while now and have a few suggestions for improvements.
It would be nice if:
*the results could be filtered according to completed, rejected, open. at the moment you have to fight your way through various articles that make no sense to read
*if you could also filter the search, e.g. all words must be included etc.
*if your entries were moderated so that similar ideas were grouped together
*if there was feedback on entries that have really received a lot of votes and yet are obviously not implemented

MEWS is very often asking for Feedback in a small window and asks how likely it is, that I would recommend MEWS regarding to the action I just took.
I really love MEWS, and like to involve and help.
I always have to either rate or cancel this window, and if a couple of tasks is going on, or more than one customer is before me, my workflow is really disturbed. It would be lovely if you'd ask not so often or in another way.
I know it is not really a idea, but I wanted to offer other Mewsers…5 votes -
Show group total price for (optional) reservation groups
Currently, the 'manage reservation' screen for groups does not show a summary of the total cost for the group, but only shows the total of each individual reservation.
With optional reservations, there is no bill added to the 'billing' tab yet, so there is no (easy) way to verify how much the total cost is for the group reservation. This causes difficulties especially when sending out quotes to the guest.

Get updates on existing support cases via the digital assistant
It would be very useful if you could view the status of an existing support case (e.g. see if it's been looked at, actioned, etc.) via the digital assistant. Currently once a case is submitted via the digital assistant, I'm not aware of a way to contact support without creating another case via the digital assistant. If you email support@mews.com the automated reply says emails cannot be responded to directly, and creates another case.

Anzahl Personenzahl in Zeitachse
Ich würde mir wünschen, dass in der Zeitachse neben den Namen auch direkt die Anzahl der Gäste im Zimmer angezeigt wird. Da wir Aufbettungen buchbar haben und auch Einzelnutzung möglich ist, hätten wir so in der Zeitachse den besseren Überblick.

Removing guest from group
It should be possible to remove a guest from a group.
Cancelation and rebooking is not a logical process. The canceled booking stays forever in the group, doesn´t it?Shouldn´t be to hard to develop. ;-)

Separate present and future bookings automatically on bills
Even though you can manually move future bookings to a separate bill it would be really useful if Mews did this automatically. It sometimes gets missed by reception and charged by mistake.

Breakfast list to be printed with room number only
Hi Mews
We wish to send the breakfast list to our supplier along with the next day's breakfast orders. The product checklist is very useful, but we’d like to know if it’s possible to remove the guest names and display only the room numbers instead.
Additionally, is there a way to automate this process by scheduling the list to be exported and sent out?

Option to pay by invoice depending on rate or voucher
Offer Pay by Invoice to certain companies linked to a voucher or based on rate. We would like to offer certain companies that have a voucher code to book direct with us the option to pay via invoice instead of having to fill in card details.

Type and tab instead of clicking from calender to change date in report filters
It would speed up the selection of dates in the filters if one could just type then press tab key. Ideally it would auto populate the current year. Also, some date selections do not adjust the end date based on the selected start date so it takes quite a lot of clicks to, say, get the view of your OCC for next week. Same for changing rates for date ranges etc.

When making a booking and we need to select a date; could we get the dates on the calendar highlighted to let us know something important is happening on this date, i.e bank holiday, special event, wedding, or any restrictions. As when making a booking on Mews, we don't always use the calendar therefor we can miss if there is something important happening on that date.

Hi, we need to filter by last name, but the export only contains first and last name in one cell, so we can only filter by first name.

Notify staff when blocklisted customer attempts to book a reservation
Receive notifications when a blocklisted customer attempts to book to stay at the hotel so that the team are aware of blocked guests who are trying to book in.

Gästeprofilnotizen im Mews-App für Housekeeping anzeigen
Zurzeit sind nur Reservationsnotizen im Mews-App ersichtlich. Dabei fehlen aber die Notizen vom Gast (z.B. wünscht zwei Kissen). Ist es möglich, dass die Gästenotizen mit der Rubrik "Housekeeping" auch auf der Mews-App hinterlegt sind? Somit muss die Rezeption die Notizen nicht jedesmal kopieren.
